He's not. Avila is not remembering correctly. Tork is #101 among position players. The formula is kind of rudimentary. He ranks players on a bunch of different categories and adds up the ranks. He could have weighted the categories, but he's not a stat guy. The ranks are not ridiculous, but maybe a little bit too much cumulative bias versus peak. Some of the write-ups are pretty good though. He told some stories about players that I haven't heard before. 2 Quote
