Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Riley SF gives us our first Bert of the night. Quote
chasfh Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Detroit Tigers tie major league record for most sacrifice flies in one inning (2). 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 19 Posted July 19 It’s a good thing that Dingler isn’t a precious guy with a short fuse. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 19 Posted July 19 The Angels have basically given up… Rodriguez is back out there in the third inning 1 Quote
JackMorrisStache Posted July 19 Posted July 19 In town for my daughter’s tournament. $19.76 got me this view off of StubHub. So far, satisfied with the results, even though parking and my beer were more than the cost of admission. 3 1 1 Quote
chasfh Posted July 19 Posted July 19 The more I see Carpenter swing, the more unusual it looks to see him stop his swing so short after going past the plate. Always makes me wonder whether he could get more control, or even more power, with a fluid swing that goes all the way to his back. Quote

chasfh Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Tigers with a 6-0 lead going into the bottom of the third have a 93.3% chance of winning, according to Statcast. That feels low. Quote

IdahoBert Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Dingler settles for a double instead of perhaps setting an MLB record for being hit by a pitch in successive bats Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 19 Posted July 19 I'll taake that double over a 4th-straight HBP. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Even though I’m in the mountain time zone and two hours earlier than those of you “back east,“ I tend to get up around 5 AM so I am making the assumption that a six run lead with a two time Cy Young award winner on the mound means this game is sewn up. I don’t believe in jinxes. Good night all… Quote

Lower bowl is mostly full. From what I can see of the uppers, maybe 40% full. Outfield pavilions well-represented. It’s a fun atmosphere, and Tigers fans are representing the “D” very well at the Big A. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 19 Posted July 19 oof, two sorta bad ABS challenges by Dingler tonight. must be off his game a bit. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 19 Posted July 19 holy crap! Keith got to bat against a lefty! my head is exploding! Quote
