Margo also has a new traditional country album out called Hard Headed Woman. It's a return to straight country form for her, after deviating into the pop-rock genre for a couple of her prior albums. As always, it features great songwriting and singing from her. So far, Don't Let the Bastards Get You Down has been my favorite track off the album.

I’m bummed I missed her show. I saw her last year. She’s very good.

Listened to my youngest and her high school choir sing Christmas carols at the zoo tonight.  Good grief, cold, cold, cold.  Cold enough that high school kids were actually wearing coats and gloves.

Classics, both. 

I wanted to watch the Blues Brothers movie a while back, and the only way I could was to pay for it. Spit. A buddy of mine featured the soundtrack at his wedding reception. It was a hit.

I have 2 VHS copies. 2 DVD copies. ‘Special” editions. And it’s been on my DVR for a few years.  But every time it’s on TV I sit and watch. The sequence starting with Boom boom thru Rays music is so awesome.  I could do without all the Carrie Fisher stuff though.

Totally agree on the Fisher stuff. And how couldn't you love Cab Calloway?
