kdog
The dead ball could explain a bad offense(bottom 5) in the context of this season. But an offense averaging 2.75 runs/game(historically bad) indicates something else is happening. A couple of vets(Schoop/Grossman) are likely out of their prime and showing it. Candy seems to be in-between. He had a horrible start but his stats weren't normalizing to the last few years. And he is 28 so is he part of a contending team? The catchers are bad hitters and Tork is a rookie trying to adjust.
