After game 4 I posted that They could win 3 in a row, but it's not likely now - and I am glad to be wrong on that. Now I am rooting 100% for Toronto tonight - because there were 3 teams that gave the Pistons trouble in the East. Atlanta - gone, Orlando - dispatched and Cleveland. I don't think the Pistons beat Cleveland this year, did they? The Sixers, Raptors and Knicks don't scare me one bit.

Said it all year. That Bane trade will go down as one of the worst trades ever. It left them with a very incomplete roster. They don't even have a PG. Starting this summer they are a 1st apron team with zero draft capital. They basically have two years to win before their payroll balloons up over $500 million a year.

Wow, look at that TS%. Mid 50's is considered garbage. Of course, the only Pistons 55% and up were Duren, Stew, Cade, and Reed.

The NBA playoffs are baby steps. Advance every season, a little further. Until a team has the experiences, coaching and players to win a championship. Are the Pustons there yet? No, not quite. Still some experiences and a player or two away. But having a team that competes deep into a season and into the playoffs makes a basketball season fun for all the Detroit fans. Just pure joy...

They played great basketball outside of that one terrible stretch in the mid 4th quarter. Jenkins and Harris picked a good time to have their best games and Cade was constantly good in the last 3 games although helped by Wagner being out. Hopefully they use this as a learning experience and be better next series because it's only going to get tougher especially if Cleveland is the opponent.

Jenkins is the guy at the party store that rambles and everyone just knows that's what he does, and people just move on. Jenkins' future here in terms of role - I don't really know. I think this team needs a PG that can spell Cunningham and probably the the reserve spot from Jenkins. But that said, his story this regular season is a huge reason why this season has been memorable.
