For the Dodgers, Vesia, Hurt, Klein, Dreyer, and Eder are all dumpster dives. For the Yankees, Hill, Headrick, Blackburn, and Yarbrough are all similar. In-season FA after a release is literally what is being bemoaned, and that is what those Yankees are. DFA trade is a trade to bypass waivers. Smith and Hanifee have been really good this year by the way.
