I saw The Backrooms with my son tonight. It reminded me of dreams I’ve had for years so it was genuinely creepy, if only for that reason. Kind of put me in the zone. I felt some investment, but not a lot in the characters. I liked the woman who played the therapist. I didn’t find it boring. But I don’t feel the need to ever see it again. Whatever it gave me, once is enough. It’s worth seeing though, especially if you want to see something that sort of gets under your skin.
