Offense needs to put the ball in play and create havoc on the base paths like in the first half of the season. So McKinstry knocks in the leading run, then gets the first two outs in the bottom of the inning. Now that I think about it, I kind of wish he’d’ve pitched to Naylor. Why not? He’s been on the bump before. Pitching chaos has plateaued. That would ramp it up a notch.

My goodness, I’d forgotten how waiting all day for an 8-9pm playoff game on a weekend can be kind of stressful. I’m normally in bed around 9:30-10 during the week. And now adrenaline is going to keep me up. Maybe I should go get some Taco Bell?

I don’t know why anyone cares. If the Tigers win the games, that’s all that matters.
