With regards to Malloy, I’m not sure what the Tigers are doing with two RHH DHs on the 40 man (Malloy and Jones) while allowing a RP with some bat miss ability (Petit) to be exposed to the rule 5. I suspect Jones won’t produce again like he did in 2025. And how long until admitting the Malloy square peg ain’t going fit in the round hole of the active 26 man roster?

Cunningham was at 35.5% the last two seasons. He started out slow, picked it up in November, but has slumped the last five games. I don’t know what to make of it other than every athlete has their ups and downs throughout a season.

Don’t fault Michigan for trying. But ND has the playoff decision go against them and they lose their head coach to Michigan in the same week? I’d hate to see Freeman go to Michigan, but the tears from that ****hole out west would be lovely.

I just jumped on baseball reference and one of the featured player pictures was Chet Lemon. And then I think about head first dives into first base. And one handed fly ball catches just above the left shoulder. And a dirty jersey by the 4th inning. And that time on NBCs game of the week where he introduced the Tiger lineup and he had a nickname for everybody and “Redneck” was used 3 times. And, my, how far graphics have come since then. Ok, back to GM bickerbate.

If the Pistons were to have an open roster spot, would you consider Chris Paul just for the experience factor? I wouldn’t alter the rotation for him, he fits in where he fits in. And maybe he doesn’t want that end of the bench. But maybe he’s at a point where he isn’t picky, a playoff run is better than nothing for him?

I heard some silly stat today. It was along the lines of SGA playing in only 13 of OKC’s 4th quarter this season because of how dominant they’ve been.

Jones was a great story last season. I just have my doubts that there’s a repeat season from him.

Could they really get that much? I realize the Dodgers have a good farm system, but I’m more interested in where the prospects stack up amongst the league rather than just solely within an organization. If the prospects are a top 25, a couple top 50s and another top 100, and the current starting pitcher is legit, then the Tigers pull a Boras and take that to market. Who knows, maybe the Mets or Phillies up the ante on the Dodgers and the Dodgers add on top? Seems nutty, I probably wouldn’t do it from the other side, but who knows if this escalates.
