  1. I found their website https://cropamerica.com As an aside traveling thru the Dakotas and Montana this Summer there were a number of windmill farms cohabitating peacefully with cattle. Also thru southern Ohio
  2. Field goal puts them up by 10, but after yesterday's FG mess, I'm not sure
  3. I'm surprised you haven't found a coordinators job yet.
  4. Didn't see Morton do a face mask or a bad pass, that drive is on the players performing.
  5. 98 yards, 10 minutes. Great ball control. Now let's see some defense
  6. My wife worked, still does some consulting for Detroit Public TV. In June of 2020 they got a call from one of the local school systems about using one of their channels for teaching. That led to a collaboration with the other Public Stations across the state (all but Detroit owned by Universities) to form the Michigan Learning Channel, offering basic reading, math and other programs on one of their over the air channels. They also hired coordinators to work with the local stations, schools, libraries with supplemental tools for teachers and parents. It's gotten rave reviews five years into the project (my wife is no longer involved), as well as receiving bipartisan funding from the Michigan Legislature. I agree the educational system is a mess. It's not just the system, a large portion the problem also lies with parents who expect teachers to be baby sitters as well.
  7. That would do it. Especially if it's community theatre. I had a similar experience with The Fantasticks. Then there was that dreadful experience in London where we endured a musical version of Tess of the D'Urbervilles. 😣
  8. Just keep in mind Republicans made Jimmy Carter sell his farm and stopped brother Billy from cashing in on beer
  9. Having spent time in the business from back to 1970. I just about to the opinion that media companies really don't need the sticks anymore. Edit We really need a nationwide initiative to improve and provide internet service for everyone. I think COVID made that clear, especially for rural areas and many inner cities. That's if we were serious about improving educational opportunities for everyone
  10. For us it was two hours or so of guilty pleasure on a Sunday afternoon. Something we don't often do.
  11. Is that what qualifies her for Homeland Security. Killing dogs?
  12. They'd never run. Much easier to rent surrogates
  13. Looking around here. Virginia's "Historic Triangle" tourism reports seem a mix bag. By the Triangle, I'm referring to Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. I know CW has adjusted their pass prices downward a bit which indicates the market is a bit soft. With up coming events leading to the 250 Celebration, there's a hope that tourism and $$ will increase. As a local, watching things like road construction and such, it still seems that while still a destination for older folks. It's still a mixed bag for families. And at times feels like it's one of those "let's go look for an hour or two" on their way to or from somewhere else.
  14. The slow slide that started with lowering ownership restrictions with Reagan/Clinton seems to have turned into an avalanche. Back then no one could have foreseen what's been happening in recent years with things like streaming and such. Meanwhile while local cable restrictions have been lifted, governments seem content with monopolies in many markets. The promotion of companies like Verizon and T-Mobile for 5G for instance are basically a farce if you have multiple devices. I'm really not sure what real reform would look like these days
  15. I was skeptical before seeing it. It's good. You might want to check out the soundtrack first. The current "movie" that's out is a filmed Broadway performance they made in 2020 with the original actors. It's been rereleased for a temporary run in theaters. A lot less expensive than stage productions
  16. September 22 https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/september-22
  17. I was a young Pirate fan growing up in Western Pa. We moved south in 1964. I was one of two "Yankees" in my seventh grade class. It was also my first major lesson on gambling. I had about $15 riding on the Yankees in the World Series....
  18. I stopped wearing the Tiger cap I bought in early July about a week into the post 7/4 slump. Unfortunately it hasn't helped. I'm too cheap to burn it however. Just in case I'm refraining from wearing my Lions gear. Sticking to my Irish driving cap. Unfortunately the Joo Joo hasn't changed. My apologies
  19. I'm starting to wonder about Mike Tomlin's job. While they still have a winning record each of the last umpteen years, it seems like they're stuck in neutral. The front office may be more at blame here, but the coach usually goes first or they go in tandem. The failure to find a decent long term QB option is definitely a problem (Yes I'm anti Rodgers, that seems like a bad Art Rooney move)
