The boys in the booth mentioned Hal Newhouser having his numbered retired in history today. Found this little tid bit I didn’t know. After his retirement from baseball, Newhouser stepped away from the sport for 20 years, serving as a bank vice president. He later worked as a scout for several MLB teams, including the Houston Astros. Angered when they rebuffed his recommendation to draft future Hall of Famer Derek Jeter in favor of Phil Nevin, he quit shortly after.

They just need to put him in the 6 hole over and over again and see what happens.

All those empty seats I bet you could slide out of those nose bleeds to the lower level. 🙂

Last fall while trudging 3 flights of stairs to get my daughters dorm setup I got really thirsty. I asked her if there was anything to drink she said yeah I have an iced tea drink on the counter. I grabbed it kind of amused at the diameter of the straw. I tak a big o'l swallow, one of those bubbles hits the back of my throat and I start choking a little like what was that? Oh Dad its a Boba tea......

So this happened last night and The Bear fans can appreciate. Couple of my buddies are bike builders. So we just get back from a ride and Rick said he has a client coming to pick up his latest build. Who is waiting at the shop door? Matty Matheson! Here are some shots of the build, the bike is a 1966 Shovelhead.

Side note, you hear about his Dad? He is HUGE Mets fan. Said he tapes his sons games and watches Mets live if they are on the same time....
