You would be surprised how many African American ground forces who are republicans.

That means the men and women that most on here despise are our only line of defense. Not saying people are wrong to have those views of them but it’s just ironic to think about.

It's 100% your right to choose that. It seems bizzare to me where my state, as we never closed or had many restrictions (50% cap at restaurants was about it). Illinois right next door requires vax proof, etc.. This time period in the U.S has to be the most state by state laws/restriction difference than any time in our history. Wether its COVID restrictions are Marajuana laws, etc. fascinating stuff.

Similar at our house. Our washer is right off the garage. Strip in the garage, start the wash then run to the shower. She just recently stopped doing this. She does however still wear a mask in crowded places. Not because she is worried about getting sick but more to prevent getting sick so she did not let down her co-nurses as they became alot closer through all this.

To be fair no one knew shit early on, we were all scared. No lie we washed our delivered groceries as well. Then, as time went on it seemed over the top. Myself and most everyone I know worked exposed, face to face through the whole pandemic. Working from home was not an option. to me it seemed the people who were able to stay home and peer out their window were the biggest advocates for restrictions. So as us knuckle draggers were exposed on the daily we became very cynical to overdoses of restrictions.

I was not trying to downplay that part, you are right. My wife's ICU has one COVID patient. Two months ago they were full of COVID patients. No mask mandates here since last summer and COVID is still dwindling weekly.

Unless a new more dangerous strain pops up it does seem the COVID hysteria is over. Thank God!

Yes, what have we become? Both my son and daughter (14&17) have harvested and processed there own Deer. Able to clean, sight a rifle. These skills may never be needed but having them is an asset.
