Quit acting like a fucking 2 year old.
-
This is what I agree with.

I'd like to see what Livers can develop into. Maybe nothing... but I'd like to see. I'll go with Buddha & Hart... I'm on board with short-term role players while this team develops.

I want Poland to invade Byelorussia and overthrow their government due to "security risks". A direct confrontation with Russian troops in that country. And put in place a Western-leaning transitional government with the promise of new free and democratic elections.
-
Which... Has got to change if this country actually wants to survive. As a Democracy. As a pluralistic society. As a country that is willing to "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free...".
-
The second part, the non-bolded part (I actually remembered to BOLD something this time...), I 100% agree with. The first part... I'm just saying I think there needs to be less "convincing" and a whole lot more understanding of the ramifications of any decision, any decision, made... I think if someone actually understands the "consequences", there would be more "OK I gotta hold my nose on this but... gotta do it". Out of civic duty. Out of an understanding of the consequences of having the WRONG person in a position of power. Out of allowing the lesser of two evils into office because the lesser evil is, well, less evil. Out of knowing that you might not get exactly what you want but... getting 50% or 10% of what you want is better than getting 100% of what you DON'T want. Etc... I think I repeated myself about 5 times in that last bit, each in a different manner... But, whichever works.
-
So their consequences are better today than in 2015... yes?
-
Maybe that's a better country to live in. And... Ireland, England, Scotland, Canada, Portugal, Costa Rica, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands...
-
I hope that opportunity pops up again some day. And won't be wasted. I think it won't. I hope this country has learned its lesson.

I'm NOT demanding votes. I am not asking for entitlement. Pfife keeps yapping that I'm demanding he vote a specific way. Horseshit. Right above one of those yaps I had answered another of your posts asking "what if someone wanted to vote for a Republican?" and I said go right ahead. That's not entitlement. But here is where I differ. I am stating uncategorically that every vote/ non-vote/ or 3rd party vote has CONSEQUENCES. I don't agree with your statement that "appealing" has to be a part of it. Consequences are the only thing that matters to me (maybe not to anyone else, especially for someone looking to be appealed to...). If this is the kind of country you want to live in, then by all means continue to vote Republican. Or 3rd party. Or don't vote (Republican voters are always more motivated than Dems so a few non-votes for a Republican doesn't block him/ her from gaining office). If you like this country the way it is, by all means, vote Republican. If this is NOT the type of country you want to love in... then there can be no excuses. Not "I'm not motivated", not "doesn't appeal to me", not "not my candidate so I'm staying home", not "not my candidate so I'm voting for the other party", not "my vote doesn't count so I'm voting 3rd party"... There are CONSEQUENCES to all of these decisions. The country that we now have today.

It's called CYA. They knew it. They knew it at the time. They are just... CTA's
-
WWND? Because this is What Neifi Would Do... right?
-
Then they get the CONSEQUENCES of that vote. You know... Like George W. Bush and the consequences of electing him. Or Donald M.F.J. Trump and the consequences of electing him. If this is the type of country that someone wants, then by all means, continue to vote Republican. Or don't vote at all. Because that also will get a Republican voted into office resulting (consequences) in THIS type of government for the United States.
-
Yes, I do. I am emotionally tied to this so... it is a need.
-
They are definitely coming after yours, and everyone else's, weed.
-
Yeah, LOL. A little too LATE Susan...
-
If you DON'T vote you still get to reap the CONSEQUENCES of that non-vote, whether you like them or NOT. You are still missing the point.
-
I want Loving overturned next. I am totally against overturning Loving... but I need that slap in the face of Clarence Thomas before he is no longer on the court. I want the uproar across the nation as a backlash against Conservatism, as a result of his poisonous politics, and the consequences thereof. I want that roar to be loud and deafening.
-
You are missing one assumption: Vision. If someone votes without the vision (foresight, whatever one wants to call it) to see what is the consequences of said vote, or non-vote; then I assume that person is a moron. To completely not understand voting for Donald MF'ing Trump, as a Bernie Bro turncoat (I believe stats say approximately 10% of them turned to Trump rather than vote for Hillary... so they are NOT blameless (I took a stab at the %, don't remember what it actually was but it was higher than 0% and lower than... maybe 20%?)); OR Otherwise... Is a shame upon that person non-voting or voting for a Fascist Scumbag like Trump. And just change the name to George W. Bush. The conversation doesn't change. If someone believes W. is a moron, would be an atrocious, nightmare president... then one should... stay at home because one wanted someone else as the Dem nominee, not Gore? Vote Nader or someone else because Gore wasn't LIBERAL enough? What STUPIDITY. Could people quit being this freaking BLIND and actually LOOK at what is being voted for? You know, like our DEMOCRACY. There is an IMPACT from these decisions and we now get to LIVE with the CONSEQUENCES of that STUPIDITY! I'm with MCS... a POX on ANY MF'er who doesn't GET THIS.

Good for them. Need to know what they were able to take out.

Probably the Russians did it.

No. Bagley looked really appealing if we were a team with a severe deficiency in athleticism. Even with all the warts he was covered in. Now that we have Ivey and Duren (which doesn't say that we stop trying to add athleticism...); I see only the warts that Bagley carries. Right now he's an afterthought. Every 3&D guy we can get on this team, and even a couple guys who may not have much "D" but can really "3", would be more appealing than Bagley. Remember, we still have Bey and Stewart; who may not be the most athletic, but add more varied talents to the team than a Bagley. If we add Bagley, or a similar athlete that needs to be developed onto this team... I think it's the last open spot that we are filling... We already have Ivey & Duren who are athletic, and will need a lot of time to develop all of their basketball skills...

Final Answer: Bridges. Obvious after we drafted Duren. Even if Ayton & Duren are not exactly the same skills. What drafting Duren does sort of force, is to find 3 & D frontcourt guys that have perimeter range both offensively and defensively. Olynyk is a better fit on the court with Duren than Ayton; and signing Ayton probably pushes Duren to the bench for the next 4 years or so of Ayton's contract. Maybe someone is OK with that (Duren on the bench behind Ayton whilst Duren learns the NBA under Ayton's tutelage...); but I think resources are better spent on switchable defenders that can cover the perimeter and not just the interior exclusively, who can also stretch the D when we're on offense. Bridges, not Ayton.

I'm sold on going after Bridges as a FA instead of Ayton.
