Oligarchs don't have as much power as they think. Especially in a fascist police state... Putin has proven that.
-
Professors and College students are required to report their political leanings to the State. That doesn't sound like a Democracy to me at all. That sounds exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, like a Fascist Police State. Trump is a wannabe Kim Jung Un. He wants to own everything (an entire country) and everyone is required to give him everything. DeSantis is a straight up police state fascist. I don't like where this country is headed.

It depends on what your definition is of "better off". He is a much, much more dangerous fascist than TFG. So, how is that better off?
-
PPS: I left his mother out of this one...
-
PS: I wouldn't have called him a moron because he actually has a brain and knows what he's doing. That's the REALLY dangerous thing about DeSantis. EXTREMELY dangerous fascist. And he's not a douche like Trump... although it may also apply here but... I think all fascists are scumbags so... in the ballpark?

Damn, pretty close...!

Ditto. And yet I'm hearing from multiple Republicans that they are getting on board with this guy as the replacement for Trump. I've also heard this question several times: "I know you HATE Trump... But.. What about DeSANTIS?!?!" Anyone want to guess how I answered that?

"Register their political views with the state" Why doesn't he just come out and say it: "Democrats are outlawed in Florida."

Could be a "has options" thing. Otherwise, it should have been Foley going down. If Foley is out of options (I didn't look it up) then Vest has to take the fall (demotion).

2018 Draft: Casey Mize - 1st round - looks ok so far; might improve and be a nice MLB starter for us; but trying to fix his arm right now. Parker Meadows - 2nd round - Total flop until this year... changed his swing to try and fix it. Some ups & downs this year but might regain prospect status if he continues (as he has this year) to have more ups than downs with the bat. Real nice OF'er but needs that bat: .762 OPS this year, best he's ever done, outside of Rookie League. Kody Clemens - 3rd round - Might be a 2B some day. In MLB... but trying to figure out MLB pitching. Tarik Skubal - 9th round - Monster. Garrett Hill - 26th round - Made MLB debut today & looked good. Minor league WHIP/ K's/ ERA: 1.10, 10.90 K's/9, 2.70 ERA Still kicking around are Adam Wolf (5th), Eric De La Rosa (7th), Chance Kirby (25th), Chavez Fernander (35th), Yaya Chentouf (36th) - All fringe prospects at best. 2019 Draft: Riley Greene - 1st round - looks good so far in his rookie year. Hoping for a superstar here... Nick Quintana - 2nd round - Traded for Barnhart. Andre Lipcius - 3rd round - Also trying to recover some prospect status with a better bat this year: .890 OPS in 2022 all in AA. Kerry Carpenter - 19th round - Trying to make a move towards MLB with a fine year in AA/AAA: 1.015 OPS. Beau Brieske - 27th round - Looks good in MLB so far. Minor league WHIP/ K's/ ERA: 1.04, 10.25 K's/9, 3.22 ERA Still kicking around are Ryan Kreidler (4th), Bryant Packard (5th), Cooper Johnson (6th), Zach Hess (7th), Austin Bergner (9th round - 1.18 WHIP, 9.85 K's/9, 3.55 ERA), Jake Holton (10th), Michael Bienlien (24th), Brendan White (26th). Mostly fringe but maybe Kreidler/ Bergner have a chance? White is doing good at Erie 1.07 WHIP, 11.3 K's/9, 3.30 ERA... maybe he has a chance?

He can't hit lefties. Platoon him. In MLB.

Not enough. Cameron has hit above AA. Also not enough, but I still believe he has a useful bat in there somewhere. Too bad it isn't his dad's bat. I mean, Willi probably also has enough of a bat in there somewhere... it periodically shows up. But he's still crap in the OF. I prefer EXACTLY what Tenacious said several posts later: I think Cameron still has a chance to be long term. But he does need to show something more than what he has. So yeah, at this point only Baddoo is showing enough to be long term. But speaking to what Tenacious posted... Baddoo is still struggling against LH'ers as far as I know. So... Baddoo/ Cameron platoon. Reyes still stays the 4th OF'er. If Cameron is facing roughly 3 LH'ers per week, plus PH opportunities (and vice verse for Baddoo), on a pretty much consistent basis (as close to it as he can get)... then maybe he pops against LH'ers and shows he could deserve some extra playing time. Maybe he even pushes Meadows to DH next year.. who knows?
-
What has Willi shown that he belongs in MLB?
-
I would rather have Daz Cameron and Baddoo back here. His glove limitations, and really limited bat as well, really should have Willi down in Toledo. No support for Willi here.
-
Grossman out. Baddoo in. How soon?
-
I caught on after the next couple of subsequent posts went even further off the deep end...
-
Wait. Wut? This can't be real. No way.
-
Just got back in and see from the box: - Despite the crappy start by Brieske... he gutted out 6 innings and held the Royals to 3 runs. Quality start! Wow... didn't expect that after that 1st inning... - Lange, Chafin & Jimenez hold the line with 3 knockdown innings, 0 hits 0 BB's and 5 K's! - Losing 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th... back-to-backs by Reyes & Riley take back the game for the Tigers... Riley Greene walkoff... Dayum!!! Nice game!!!
-
Ditto.
-
Whoever didn't draft 1-1 that year dodged a bullet.
-
PS: He's 22 years old. Probably deserves another shot.
