I think they should be treated like cigarette ads. I don't have the exact definitions but... Camel (and all cigarette makers) were outlawed from using animation to advertise its product as it was deemed that it was a direct attempt by Camel ("Joe Camel") to entice underage smoking or new, teenage smokers. Ergo: no animation allowed. I think quite a lot of other restrictions popped up around that time as well... (Early '90's IIRC?) Not certain what limitations should be used on gambling but lets just call it "sin advertising" for arguments sake. Any types of ads for sports gambling are OK between the hours of Midnight and 6AM, and in print ads (with print ad limitations), but during "waking hours" they are restricted to... __________ advertising?

I'm going to add in annual registration fees. Make it cost restrictive to own more than one gun. A normal annual registration fee for the ownership of one gun (let's say a handgun for personal protection, under lock & key in the house), but rapidly rising annual fees per each additional gun owned. To help pay for the annual "mental health checkup" on ALL gun owners. To include an IRS audit (to make certain said gun owner is financially healthy and not ready to go off on people because of a pending bankruptcy or similar), FBI audit (to make certain someone hasn't been radicalized by online extremists and also to do a checkup on proper lock & key). And a mental health checkup by a professional. In fact, I believe all of these should be required PRIOR to the purchase of ANY gun by ANYONE. Also, an automatic 10-year Federal prison sentence for the ownership of military-level equipment by non-military personnel. To include body armor, armor piercing rounds, any magazines with a greater than 8 round capacity, bump stocks, and any weapon with a muzzle velocity higher than 1,200 feet per second. This last one eliminates AR-15's and any similar military quality weapon. Does anyone know what the muzzle velocity of a hunting .22 is? Roughly 1,100 feet per second. Does anyone know what the muzzle velocity of a 9mm is? Roughly 1,200 feet per second. Does anyone know what the muzzle velocity of a 44 Magnum is? Roughly 1,200 feet per second. Does anyone know what the muzzle velocity of an AR-15 is? Roughly 3,300 feet per second. This causes, on the battlefield, sonic damage in the wound area; in other words, inoperable wounds. Certain death. Downgrade muzzle velocity and high capacity magazines and you downgrade all of these mass shootings. PS: Republicans don't want you to know that...

I don't think it will be a problem for the Ukrainians to retake Kherson... it's on the west side of the Dnieper and the Crimea and everything else the Russians have take is on the east side. One bridge for the Russians to re-supply Kherson and that is easily accessed by Ukrainians to include blowing it up. But the Ukrainians have no access to Mariupol, the bridge to Crimea, nor a great ability to cut the land bridge. Aside from sabotage. And sabotage is limited in scope. It can't retake anything, it can only do the limited and direct damage of that act. Ukraine is at a severe disadvantage retaking any of the land bridge to Crimea except at the inner fringes...

They won't be able to do that. Militarily. Russia has sea (of Azov) access and land access and Crimea access to re-supply those areas. Ukraine has no access except to attack them head on from the interior of Ukraine. I predict they will be able to push Russian forces back across the Dnieper River (taking back Kherson Oblast) which would push them further away from Odessa and Russia's aim to take Odessa and create a land bridge all the way from the Donbas to Moldova (the Russian held Moldovan territory of Transdniestra). And that they may be able to take back some towns and territory in the Donbas and Zaporizhia regions.... from the direction of Kharkhiv southward, not from the coast inwards. This doesn't affect Russia's current hold on a land bridge to Crimea. Russia holds this, they already have it, and will not let go of it, and I believe, will be able to maintain their hold on it. The most the Ukrainians will be able to reconquer, in my opinion, is the Kherson Oblast and the inner fringes of Zaporizhia and the Donbas.

His talent has always been legit. He was the Tigers' first "big" International signing when they spent $550K in 2016 on him. He's always had speed (between last year and this year he's stolen 34 bases and been caught 3 times...) and a hit tool. He's had flashes before this year too... But, as usual, you never know how a prospect is actually going to develop, legit or not. He seems to be filling out and starting to produce nice results with some added power. As opposed to some high profile 2nd rounders (Meadows, Rivera) flopping because their ability to hit a baseball at the higher levels is non-existent. Can he sustain it as he rises up the ranks...? I think we'll see on that shortly...

Miggy the rest... fill in the blanks with whatever leftover mashed potatoes we have cooked up for the day. Hell, bench Schoop and start Clemens at 2B in the #6 spot... why not?
