  1. Or Andre Ware v2.0.
  2. It has been specifically noted that Willis is weak in those areas. Which makes him a particularly dangerous prospect, especially at #2. I take a trade down if there's interest from other teams at grabbing him in the #2 spot.
  3. I hope Chet ain't the guy at the top of their board.
  4. And Ty Alexander doesn't want to lose his rotation spot.
  5. Daz is really trying to show that his hat belongs also in the 4th OF'er possibility... not just Reyes and/or Hill...
  6. Ewww. I just threw up in my mouth.
  7. We don't have much in the way of flashy O players but... We could use the same thing.
  8. Billy Carter. Totally irrelevant. I agree. Someone else (or two) is, however, fixated.
  9. There's a book out there with an appropriate title: "Everything Trump Touches Dies" It's by Rick Miller who just excoriates him. Unvarnished.
  10. And if Sundqvist is still hurt... We could see Berggren, like, ... immediately.
  11. Sundqvist is a Forward. Final tally is send out two D (Stecher, Leddy) a Forward (Namest), and a combo AHL'er (Witkowski) for a forward (Sundqvist) and a blueliner (Walman). I see lines as: Larkin-Bertuzzi-Raymond Veleno-Vrana-Zadina Suter-Hirose-Sundqvist Rasmussen & flip two coins between Erne, Gagner, Givani & Rowney. At some point, something has to stick here. There's nothing in that 3rd line that says we shouldn't bring up Berggren. In fact, you could drop Veleno and Zadina to the 3rd line, bring up Berggren and put him on the 2nd, and push Sundqvist up to the 2nd and that's probably a better 2nd line. Drop Hirose back to Grand Rapids. Blueliners: Walman-Seider Juolevi-Hronek Staal-Lindstrom ... those are some ugly pairings as well... It's not Seider's fault, obviously. But I don't see anything stopping the team from bringing up Sebrango or McIsaac for some run to see what they have with those two either.
  12. If Russia blockades Mariupol and no one can gain entry... All of these war crimes don't exist. Verification IS going to be the tricky part. Even though everyone knows all those crimes absolutely exist.
  13. But it certainly seems reasonable. It probably is less than what Ukraine is claiming, but at least a little more than the Russian numbers (simply because of verification lag...). Also, how many Russian soldiers have surrendered? I don't know who to trust with a good number there but... those guys ae no longer in the war either...
  14. That should cap it off. It's about everything we had to trade of value. I like even getting just an extra 4th rounder simply because it allows some maneuverability in the draft to trade a couple picks to move up and get a player we really want... if the need/ opportunity arises. That's probably Namest's trade value, a 4th rounder. But the draft flexibility is the most important issue to me at this point...
  15. Couple bigger guys if they're healthy... 3rd or 4th liners... I like that 2nd rounder in 2023 as well... That's the clincher.
  16. Germany is working its way slowly, ever so slowly, away from its dependence on Russian oil & gas: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/mar/20/germany-gas-deal-qatar-end-energy-dependency-on-russia
  17. This part is true though. And Putin certainly straightened that out really quick...
  18. I think the complaint on the 2% was a cover. Trump is an isolationist and truly wants out of NATO, International agreements/ conflicts/ etc... At least that's my opinion...
  19. That's why I said mood... To hear pop greatness (songwriting and clever musical hooks); it's Beatles without peers. To straight up rock, that's Zeppelin. I was born in 1964 and didn't really begin to appreciate music until I was around 12. They were both essentially before my time. But the Beatles swamped the airwaves, as did Zeppelin. When comparing apples with oranges... It depends on whether you feel like eating an apple at the moment... or an orange.
  20. Speaking of which... It's more interesting to listen to his songs as performed by other artists than it is to listen to his own renditions of his songs... And that's a very long list...
  21. Which still doesn't put him very high on the must-listen-to list...
  22. Prove it. Otherwise you're as full of hot air as your idol Trump.
  23. No way. It's between the Beatles and Zep, depending on mood. On some days it's the Beatles. On others Led Zeppelin. The Stones have some really classic songs that are must-listen-to. But so do the Beatles & Zep and to me I listen to almost everything from my top two. I have a 100 favorite Zep songs and 150 favorite Beatles songs... Maybe not that many, but something like that... Dylan? Nice songwriter... but I don't really listen to him, at all. Not zero, but close to it. There are way too many other interesting bands, and way way way more interesting (not even close) than Bob Dylan, even from the same era: The Velvet Underground, Hendrix, The Doors, The Who, Cream, The Small Faces... I'd rather listen to The Yardbirds as well... It's a long, long, long list before I get to Bob Dylan. But that's just me.
  24. The Vax status complicates things, but, we'll see.... If an overpay offer doesn't come until this offseason... I can live with that too...
