    Easier said than done when it’s been four whole days since Torkelson’s multi-homer game and he only got on base a total of three times over the past two games.

    Maybe his thinking is there are teams who would sign him and give him NHL playing time if not for his bad contract. So be free, sign a 1 x $1mm, and hope to kickstart his career somewhere. Make money after he proves himself if he thinks he can. His concern must be that he can’t make the Wings and that being buried in the minors kills any chance of big figure paydays. Quite a gamble though.

    Wait until we find out the wife or girlfriend of DeBrincat is best friends with that of Tarasenko and they both want to bring their foursome to the Vegas Knights.

    We all need to ease off on Zadina. After all, he has more career goals than Quinn Hughes!

    Zadina clears waivers. He will try to make the team. If he can’t, he can be sent down to GR but only if he clears waivers again then.

    That’s how I interpret it. But I think Ottawa is likely in weaker position than a week ago. I’d offer them Boston’s #1 next year, period, and hope it is in the high 20s. Don’t need to add a decent player and certainly not a prospect. They can take one of our depth players created by the free agent signing logjam if they wish.
