We had New Year's from New York on one TV (we're old, we watch the East Coast midnight at 9pm our time then go to bed soon after) and the OSU game on my PC. The PC may have been a bit delayed, but it literally came down on my screens to the kick going wide with exactly 3 seconds until midnight.

These probably were the four right teams for the CFP. B1G didn't embarrass themselves, so there's that.

Sure it does. Michigan still won the rivalry game and the Big 10. That said, I want Georgia to come back.

Wings wrap up a 5-6-2 month of December (12 pts in 13 games) with a 4-2 come from behind victory over Ottawa. Goals from Pius Suter and then Rasmussen, Soderblom and Raymond in quick succession.

I'm not pinning the loss on that, I doubt very many are. It was early on and a ton of stuff happened after, who knows how things would have played out. But it was terrible, infuriating call. It's like a great pitch that wasn't called for strike 3 with 2 outs, and the other team instead goes on to score 2 runs that inning. I think the biggest play of the game was DJ Turner's missed tackle on 3rd and 7 that went for 75 or so yards, just after Michigan had pulled to within 3.

I'm still numb from the Michigan game, but the Wings have exploded with 3 goals in first 3:13 of the 3rd period to take a 4-2 lead over the Senators.

Biggest surprise to me was how badly the Michigan defense deteriorated in the 2nd half.

True, especially when you hand it off to a lineman. It’s still a monumentally bad call by the ref craving attention.

The blown call in the end zone to overturn that TD in the 1st half will go down with USC Charles White’s phantom touchdown in Michigan infamous lore.

Michigan might never get a better chance to have won a CFP game. If they make it back it will be against Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, etc.

Get a 3 and out and I think they can win this. I expect TCU to be able to run out the clock though.

Michigan is in same situation OSU was after the first of Donovan’s two long TDs. 7 minutes to go, with the ball, down by 2 TDs.

Duggar will need to do something silly.

Plenty of time and despite its struggles at times I think offense will score the 14 points. I just have no confidence the defense can hold TCU scoreless rest of the way.

Big 10 is 4-0 in bowls, Big 12 is 1-5, and it’s a 3-point game with a full quarter to go. Michigan might lose, snd they’ve shot themselves inndoot many times, but c’mon.

So turns out it’s the Michigan defense that got totally worn down.

Inability to pick up 4 or 5 yards on the run like they did in the regular seals on has been a killer.
