If Raymond’s demands are outrageous to the Wings I assume they’d be outrageous to any trading partner as well. No reason to think Raymond would require a premium from the Wings or the Wings are undervaluing him compared to how the market would.

Yeah, they are still far enough back that they can’t really make it without the Twins’ help. If the Twins go 15-14 the rest of the way, the Tigers would need go 19-9 and they aren’t going to do that. But a team can have a bad month. If the Twins go 13-16, then 17-11 to tie is still tough but getting within the plausible range. At least the Tigers don’t need to leapfrog 4 teams any more.

Growing up rain delays meant WDIV would show the 1968 World Series highlights film. Sometimes the rain would stop too early so they'd cut the film off during the Game 5 part and switch back to live action. That was always a downer.

Game time of 2:17 was shorter than the rain delay of 2:45.

Tigers can get to .500 tomorrow. If the Tigers finish 21-10 and the Royals finish 14-18, will be tied for final wildcard spot unless Boston or Tampa goes on a run. Believe?

The White Sox need to go 12-20 to match the Tigers' lousy 2003 of 43-119. So does that mean going 10-22 would give the White Sox the worst record of all time? If so, even more incentive to beat the White Sux today.

Same here. 6:40pm starts aren’t great coming down from Vancouver BC because it’s rush hour traffic from Everett on in. I had some free time this week if the Tigers were dojng better, but little motivation for a day trip. I’d attend a game to watch this team if the stadium was within walking distance of my house
