  1. Lions 1st down at midfield with 10:23 to go, up 10. Finish them now!
  2. Maybe the Lions offense has finally met one or two injuries too many
  3. That wasn’t interference. What happened to the easy throws up the middle?
  4. These two drives are concerning me for the Green Bay and Buffalo games.
  5. I wouldn’t be opposed to going for 2 here.
  6. If they had done so you would have been upset that 4 redzone trips yielded just 1 TD and 3 FGs.
  7. Wow, 3 steps from a 23 pt lead. I don’t think it will matter but …
  8. That was a low percentage call for 4th down. But yeah, I was expecting to see a flag.
  9. I hope the Bears don’t go for it but they should. If they kick ball back to the Lions with 2 minutes to the half, the Lions have plenty of time to score a TD regardless of where on the field they start.
  10. Here’s the Bears’ chance to score TDs on consecutive possessions on both sides of halftime to tie the game.
  11. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/montreal-canadiens-are-no-1-in-tsn-s-annual-nhl-team-ranking-of-u-24-players-1.2207606 TSN's annual NHL team ranking of U-24 players. Wings rise from #6 last year to #3 this year, behind Montreal and San Jose and just ahead of New Jersey and Minnesota Players are labeled AAA (superstar), AA (elite), A (No. 1 goalie, top-pair defenceman, first-line forward) or B (tandem goalie, top-four defenceman, top-six forward) or C (backup goalie, depth defenceman, bottom-six forward). Examples of other established NHL players under 24 who they peg as "AA" like Seider and Raymond include Cole Caulfield, Luke Hughes, Brock Faber, Tim Stutzle, and Owen Power. The only "AAA"s on their list seem to be Celebrini, Jack Hughes and Bedard.
  12. Flames announcers vehemently opposed to the call. "Yeah, technically, there are too many men on the ice, but in a way that's hardly ever called".
  13. Wings with a golden opportunity, thanks to Calgary taking a too many men on the ice penalty
  14. Bad icing call. DeBrincat was winning that race. Edit: Switched to a centre ice faceoff, OK
  15. I'll be content taking chances with shootout. Wings must have the least threatening 3 on 3 setup in the league.
  16. Off to overtime. I really want this extra point. Sloth is right, both teams are pretty bad, but I think the Wings have been a little less bad than Calgary tonight.
  17. Flames finally break through with 9 seconds left in the powerplay. That stings.
  18. Larkin charged with a "faceoff violation" penalty?? Yuck. Ill-timed. 4 1/2 minutes to go.
  19. Wings actually half-decent so far in the 3rd. Even cycling in the Calgary zone, lol.
  20. 1-0 Wings after 2 Long way to go tonight, but if the Wings can pull out a win and enter Thanksgiving 10-10-2, they should pinch themselves that they haven’t wrecked their season yet given the way they’ve played almost all of the nights.
  21. My regular bar makes a time adjustment in comment because I told them I might miss 3 Lions touchdowns if they don’t open until 10am (1pm ET)
  22. The only thing that makes me feel not too bad about missing out on Montgomery is Montgomery's existing ties to St. Louis, having been an assistant there. Yzerman might never had much of a chance on that one.
