  1. Trading for guys in their 30's, who have taken a lot of shots, probably isn't the best idea unless you are one piece away. Maybe that's what Denver thought, but I didn't think that going into this season. I didn't think they'd be bad like this, though. I saw one headline that said "Did the Rams build their team the wrong way?" How stupid. They won a Super B***, so they actually did build it the right way. You could say that to our fan base - Hey Lions fans, if you could build a team that would have one magical season and win the Super B*** and then go back to sucking, would ya? HELL YES !
  2. I love it. You don't want to tank two years in a row because you don't want to infect your team with a losing mentality. But you don't have to because the Rams are tanking for you. So you can still get a Top 5 pick (Stafford is likely done for the year) and probably pick around 16 or 17. That was your best-case draft scenario wasn't it? A very high pick and the Rams struggling. but you expected YOUR pick to be #3 and the Rams to be #16 or #17. Plus the Packers suck, so that makes things good too. Only team that could be happier is Seattle - getting Denver's pick (which could be #2 or #3) and getting a BUNCH of Denver picks and not having to pay a QB a quarter of a billion. The heist of the century. Better than the Herschel Walker trade. I saw the end of the Colts-Steelers game. Why are so many coaches so bad at managing the clock? I guess being in the thick of it on the sidelines makes it harder, but I don't know, man.......some things should be baked into the brain.
  3. Oooh, time to listen to Sparty Afternoon show on 97.1 whine about this for 2 hours.
  4. Maybe he's looking closer to home too. He's from Reno. I think quite a few Pac-12 teams will be looking for a stabilizing QB next year.
  5. Iowa too. If they had a decent QB they'd be back in Indy this year. Wish nothing but the best to the young man (unless he plays against Michigan).
  6. Wisconsin next year? Iowa ?
  7. For 2 1/2 years I avoided it, but it finally got me. I've been Covid'd Woke up roasting and coughing. Temp 100.7 (97.3 is normal for me) and I am extremely tired..............Sooooooo tired. Tested positive. I'm quad-vaxxed and I'm glad I am.
  8. I am thinking at the end of the game it was mostly MI
  9. He's been talking about God a lot lately. He started doing that when more questions about Dr. Anderson came up
  10. We don't have much to celebrate around here with pro football, but imagine being a Bears fan and having to watch that soul-numbing dreck 17 times a year. Just ugly football.
  11. Luke is 0-1 vs. Michigan. He will never get the OSU job. Stanford's next head coach will be.............Nathaniel Hackett
  12. I know. When the Lions won the title I was -7 and now I'm almost 58 and they still haven't. Also insane.
  13. I was just walking through my house this morning and I collapsed to the ground from laughter. I LOVE THIS !
  14. Thats a bit skewed, as Michigan chickened out in 2020 (come on, I am a fan, but they did).
  15. What if........... Kansas State beats TCU by 40 LSU beats Georgia by 60 USC drops their game to Utah and Purdue scores a touchdown Then what?
  16. This Tuesday................ ------------control their own destiny---------- 1 - Georgia - They can lose and still be in the playoffs 2 - Michigan - So can they 3 - TCU - Still have to prove it. Win & In. Lose & Out 4 - USC - College Football needs a West Coast team -------------still in it---------------------- 5 - Alabama - 2 loses on the last play on the road against ranked teams. 6 - Ohio State - If TCU & USC lose, they are in ----------------------virtually no shot------------------------ 7 - Tennessee - Nope, Great season but gave up 63 to SC. 8 - Kansas State - A very nice season. Lost 3 games to ranked teams. Classic spoiler opportunity 9 - Penn State - They don't belong here, but college football is weak this year. 10 - LSU - Brian Kelly killed a kid.
  17. funny how? how am I funny? what the f**k is so funny about me, huh?
  18. I was thinking OSU 31, Michigan 23..........................What am I, a clown, I'm here to amuse you ?
  19. YES..............YES, BY GOD, IT DOES ! I listened to their sports station for 2 hours, frequently laughing. I fed on their pain. I didn't savor it, I gulped it down like a thirsty man in the desert and it tasted so fucking good. I want more next year. I want to FEED ON THEIR VERY SOULS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Opening Line is Michigan -17.5. I think I'd taker Purdue in that bet. I think Michigan wins, but not sure it's a blowout.
  21. Wow. Lions looked respectable. Pistons won two games without their star, The Wings keep playing well, Michigan beats OSU, Scott Harris is not Al Avila. Things are turning around (slowly)
  22. Looks like Purdue next Saturday night I think the line will open Michigan -13.5
  23. by the way, no edibles yet. That's a 9pm thing. Its actually legit, I have an Achilles injury and it's been a painful week. Looks like surgery is in my future (had it on the right foot 3 years ago).
  24. I was expecting a big red title wave today and the dice came up blue. Twice in one month and goddammit, it feels good.
  25. Purde done woke up in the second half......so it's trending towards the Boilermakers, in what will be practically a home game. Major advantage. I say Purdue will be favored by negative 13 1/2
