Atlanta went for the tie. Looks like Tampa is going to win anyway.
-
And now they are losing by 1. My goggle are they bad.
-
Atlanta driving down the field down 38-31. They have to win for any shot at the playoffs. If they score a TD, do they go for 2 or for OT. I guess if the Buccs game ends first it won't matter if the Buccs win.

Why, this team is incredible on the road.
-
This team has some fight in them. And some decent coaching too. Now - Cade better stay healthy and go out and find a Point Guard to get you through this season. Take an expiring contract. Do something. 17-18 after the last couple seasons is pretty darn impressive. It's nice to see. Teams around here are all improving.

BAM. HUGE FREAKING WIN
-
Mr. McLellan seems to have put a bit of a flame under this team's tush. If only Stevie had made the move 2 weeks earlier. Getting out of Winnipeg with a point would be quite impressive. 2 would be awesome.

My Under The Radar Radio Top 10 Picks Of The Year for 2024 (has little to do with what other critics think. I like earworms) 10. Blushing - Sugarcoat (Shoegaze from Austin, Texas) 9. Valley - Water The Flowers, Pray For A Garden (Canadian hook-laiden indie pop) 8. MJ Lenderman - Manning Fireworks (A lot of critics put this near the top) 7. Nada Surf - Moon Mirror (Best album since 2005's The Weight Is A Gift) 6. The Cure - Songs of a Lost World (Few do grief as melodically as Robert Smith) 5. Liam Gallagher & John Squire - Liam Gallagher & John Squire (Manchester music royalty) 4. Waxahatchee - Tigers Blood (Can't wait to see her at Ann Arbor Folk Festival) 3. Fontaines DC - Romance (All four of their albums were in my Top 5 the years they came out) 2. X - Smoke & Fiction (What a way to go out. A blistering album that rocks as hard as when they were kids) 1. The Lemon Twigs - A Dream Is All We Know (I just love these guys. Sure, they are leaning on the 60s and 70s, but that's a great time period to lean on. If you like Big Star, The Beach Boys, The Byrds, Badfinger, The Hollies, even a little T Rex......)

2024 - 2025 Detroit Tigers Offseason

Prediction - Bregman signs with Tigers 6 years, 184 million with a player opt out after 2 years. I don't thin he's worth 30 mil a year and that could cause problems when it's time to re-sign some of the young guys, but I also don't think the Tigers are going to keep Riley Greene for the long haul. Especially if Max Clark develops like they hope he will. If Riley wants to stay long term he needs to avoid the injury list the next two years. -

I would not make that trade. I think Carpenter/Vierling is equal to Suzuki and much cheaper. And selling our future SS for this would be silly too. -

2024 - 2025 Detroit Tigers Offseason

If they sign Bregman, it probably means the end for Baez in Detroit. We all know that AJ likes having guys on the bench that can play multiple positions. If he's got 4 bench spots (assuming Tork is DH), and one of them is going to a Catcher, then I think the other 3 spots are going to have to be multiple position guys, since Bregman and Torres would both be (mostly) one-position guys. Having Baez on the bench limits the moves AJ can make. I think Baez will either be SS #1 or not on the team in 2025. And sure, they could start Sweeney at AAA, but if Baez has another Spring Training like last year, I don't think they keep him. Not too sure about Tork being on this team either. They wouldn't get much in a trade. They start him at Toledo and tell him "prove you belong here". Malloy is the wild card at first base. We have no idea if he'll be any better there than he has been anywhere else. Plus Ibanez and Vierling can be your RH first baseman too. A lot of pressure on Tork. -
Oh man. Pistons close to within 3 of .500 and lose one of their best players. I think Ivey's season has to be over, judging by the reaction from both teams. He was having a really good season too. Next man up !

I think the Bears should hire Brandon Staley or Josh McDaniels.

HAPPY NEW YEAR NOLA. Louisiana loves their guns. I'm sure it's all Biden's fault.

Jimmy Carter built houses for poor people and actually inspired others to do the same. With his own hands. Most ex Presidents just go on expensive speaking tours. I'll give him a ton of credit. As far as any "weakness" goes, lets remember that his opponent in 1980 made a deal to make sure our hostages stayed hostages until he was sworn in. That's real weakness, keeping our people in captivity for a single extra day to serve his own needs. And if you want to trace back this imbalance between the haves and have nots to anyone - it's him. But he talked pretty. He was a ****ing actor. Carter was a decent guy (who has plenty of flaws). He was also a musichead, which I'll always appreciate. Because if my job I won't say while I'll be doing when a certain person dies, but it won't be mourning.

Not sure. Are you absolutely sure that if you put Daniels or Nix in Chicago that it would not have been a trainwreck? Sam Darnold is showing us that it can be very reckless to put a rookie QB in a bad situation and expect anything good to happen. Bryce Young is showing signs of life too. These fellas got thrown to the wolves as rookies. I know everyone believes Zack Wilson is a major bust but if he gets an opportunity at redemption like Darnold and Geno Smith did, he might show you something. J.J. McCarthy wound up in a perfect scenario. Sit and watch something successful and see how it's done. I am pretty sure he'll get traded when the Vikings sign Darnold. McCarthy will likely end up with any number of teams, but a team with an aging QB would be so perfect for him. A team like the Rams or Cowboys would have him set up to take over in 2026 and get off to a flying start.
