  1. I will give Jerry Jones credit. The video of the fans heckling him in Philly, and instead of demanding they be thrown out, he talks to them. He eats the **** with a smile on his face instead of running off and hiding. I think that's pretty cool, actually.
  2. I The Detroit Lions are America's Team (for now until everyone gets sick of us)
  3. Watching the Twilight Zone marathon. Rod Serling and his writers were genius. The episode with the Neo Nazi played by Dennis Hopper had the following epilogue that is so crystal clear right now. Rod tried to warn us. Where will he go next, this phantom from another time, this resurrected ghost of a previous nightmare? Chicago? Los Angeles? Miami, Florida? Vincennes, Indiana? Syracuse, New York? Any place, every place, where there's hate, where there's prejudice, where there's bigotry — he's alive. He's alive so long as these evils exist. Remember that when he comes to your town. Remember it when you hear his voice speaking out through others. Remember it when you hear a name called, a minority attacked, any blind, unreasoning assault on a people or any human being. He's alive, because through these things, we keep him alive.
  4. Especially a position that could take advantage of his name a bit.
  5. Don't even know if he's a MAC QB. Will he change positions? Are they going to play Underwood next season?
  6. Wow. Jordan Marshall........... Michigan should be in line for a nice comeback season (if they can get decent QB play).
  7. Looking up 2b and seeing their career WAR. How the hell is Lou Whitaker not in the Hall of Fame. It's an absolute crime. Why, because he didn't talk to the media? He had nothing to say, he said it with this bat and glove.
  8. I have heard Tom was a pretty heavy drinker. He died way too young. .
  9. I am guessing Minnesota 77, Detroit 48, something like that.
  10. Maybe being the 5 seed and playing on the road is better for this team.
  11. Lions don't have a prayer against Minnesota next Sunday. They're gonna lose by 30.
  12. First win in SF since 1975 And have the Lions ever gone undefeated on the road for a full season?
  13. Man, I have an SCTV Johnny LaRue marathon lined up, Guess I will watch that tomorrow
  14. But who really cares if they blow a lead? Doesn't matter.
  15. Best case scenario is they get out to a huge lead, show they are sharp and then the backups come in to close it out.
  16. Exactly. What's the difference. You take guys out of certain positions you leave other guys vulnerable for injuries from missed blocks and tackles. This team has one speed and they don't let up. That's what they do and they probably shouldn't stop it because you can't stop a runaway train and if you do, you can't get it up to speed fast enough for this postseason. It's all-out all the time. They want revenge tonight.
  17. Navigato - the surprise that nobody talks about. But he's a Super Utility Guy more than an everyday SS, but don't sleep on this guy. I would be more interested to see Navigato get a first chance than Kreidler getting a 5th chance.
  18. yes Leo's line "but I've been down here before and I know the way out". We can only dream it could be like this in real life. Too bad it's closer to House Of Cards.
  19. The fan next to where I sleep every night has High, Medium and Low. The Detroit Lions do not have variable speeds.
  20. They came out of the gate today with their hair on fire.
  21. How much do you think the NFL is playing Green Bay to tank this to set up next Sunday night's game?
  22. Is it too early to call Anthony Richardson a bust?
  23. Isn't it delicious, Ratko?
