  1. Yesterday was ugly as hell. The O-Line has to get. The new Coordinators have to sort it out. There's a ton of talent on the team and they don't need to give up on anything. Might be a bit of a down year, but this team is built for a 3-year run right now. And never give up on a game. The Bills proved that last night. Never give up.
  2. Well, the status of baseball after 2026 is going to make this a weird offseason. A work stoppage/lockout/strike is all but guaranteed after 2026 and this one is going to be much nastier than 1981 or 1994. There's so much uncertainty with television contracts and streaming and salary cap/floor and two teams that really haven't solved anything yet. I mean, have the actually started really building something in Vegas yet, or are they still moving dirt around. Last I saw it looks like they are building something that could be converted into a parking garage or hotel. Nothing looks like close to a baseball stadium yet. And the Rays situation is a mess. I mean, any mention of the words salary cap ends negotiations with the players, so I don't know where this is all going. I'm pretty sure it means we won't get April or May baseball in 2027, at the least.
  3. Maybe this is their worst half all year. Still only a two score game. Perhaps coach thinks a reset is more important than making risky plays.
  4. They suck. Terrible team right now. They'll likely make the playoffs (barely) because of their first half, but they are getting blown to smithereens in the postseason. Unless they can find a way to quickly clone Skubal. The pitching staff is dog meat.
  5. Didn't even last a half before calling for firings. Where are these perfect OCs and DCs you demand we get? This is kind of how they looked at the start of last year. It's a tough deal. Not playing during the preseason to avoid injuries but then they have no timing at all.
  6. Thank you Twins for slowing down the Tigers collapse. The reason I find this so frustrating, how bad this team is right now is that they had a great first half and had plenty of pixie dust sprinkled all over McKinstry, Baez and Mize. The time to strike was NOW. The Twins of 2021 or Orioles of 2023 probably thought they had long runs of winning wrapped up and look a them now. Doing next to nothing at the trade deadline was pure incompetence. No guarantee they repeat the first half of this year. They puckered up their ass cheeks and barely did anything. Trading for projects and injured guys that might not even play this year. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Now they're one of the bottom third teams in baseball. ♫We asked for Mojo Nixon. They said "well, he don't work here". We said 'you don't got Mojo Nixon then your store could use some fixin'. We got into her car, away we started rollin' I asked 'how much you pay for this?' She said 'Nothin', man it's stolen. Punk Rock Girl, you look so wild, let's have a child, we'll name her Minnie Pearl. Just you and me, eating fudge-banana swirl, just you and me, yeah, we'll drive around the world, just you and me, Punk Rock Girl♫
  7. Oh, so maybe Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn weren't so bad after all.
  8. So they're already 0-3? Okay. And they were going 6-11 last year because they lost the 2nd game of the season.
  9. I told you, this defense is awful. Just awful. Don't know what's worse right now - the Lions defense or the Tigers pitching.
  10. He's a freshman. It's gonna be like this against the good teams. We hope to see improvement by the end of the season. This is what you're in for when you start a Freshman. It's not surprising.
  11. There's no such thing as a "trick play".
  12. How far into the game before TP calls for the firing of the new OC and DC ?
  13. This is the night when the collapse started. Remember this night. This collapse will rival The 1964 Phillies The 1969 Cubs The 1978 Red Sox The 1987 Blue Jays This is going to be painful.
  14. Pitcher's lucky he didn't break his jaw there. Wow
  15. Jerry has actually been very slow to fire coaches in the past.
  16. One of the greatest rock ballads ever
  17. COACH HOT SEAT RANKINGS Pre Week 1 1. Brian Daboll, Giants (and it started out so well) 2. Kevin Stefanski, Browns (another victim of the DeShaun Watson trade) 3. Mike McDaniel, Dolphins (they are stuck in neutral) 4. Dave Canales, Panthers (it's a week division, they need to show something this year) 5. Zac Taylor Bengals (that window wasn't open very long and Burrow has a few more prime years). (Dis-Honorable mentions) I think the idea of firing Brian Callahan is silly. It's a rebuild. Unless they are embarrassing, then give him a chance. But I know he won't get much of one. Shane Steichen. The Colts. Like the Dolphins, are stuck in neutral and wasting a draft pick on Richardson will cost Shane his job (even though he didn't make that pick). This team still hasn't recovered from Andrew Luck's surprise retirement.
  18. Thank goodness they had such a great first half, because this team is not very good right now.
  19. 12-12 for a final record of 92-70
  20. It's just one game, but I think Belichick's success was mostly because of Brady - and I don't even give him too much credit for drafting Brady since he passed on him 7 times before taking their shot. Bill's record without TB12 as starting QB is something like 89-103 and its 0-1 on the college level. The Phil Jackson and Joe Torre of Football.
  21. Twilight Zone time for me too. Maybe it'll chill me out after that. I mean, right down the middle to Soto. Moron.
  22. I am so ****ing pissed right now. He throws a cookie right down the middle to SOTO ? What the hell was that? You couldn't get him with that even before your AARP day.
