  1. Apologies to Mr. Hanky.
  2. I'm telling you, it's HIM, It has to be. This is the ultimate gag. This is worth faking a death for 36 years.
  3. So Q-Tards gathered at Dealey Plaza, hundreds of them, because JFK Jr. was going to return and that would mean Trump is President again. Andy Kaufman HAS to be behind this. https://www.forbes.com/sites/teakvetenadze/2021/11/02/qanon-believers-gather-in-dallas-awaiting-return-of-long-dead-jfk-jr/?sh=49e21329668f
  4. The Big Ten used to solve ties by determining head-to-head and then which team has not been the champion for the longest time. But that was years ago. Speaking of Years Ago..... I think of the scene in Casino when the narrator says "Years Ago, Back Home" an on the screen instead of saying "Chicago, 1962", it just says Years Ago, Back Home. I love Marty's humor.
  5. You know what this means, right?
  6. Knowing with Nicolas Cage was a really stupid movie. Vampire's Kiss with Nicolas Cage was a horrible movie, but completely enjoyable because he's just so bad in it. Sad thing is that the man has talent and when he picks the right movie, he's great. The movie Pig won't sell a lot of tickets, but it might be the 1 for 8 when he does a good one (He plays a reclusive former chef who lives out in the woods and his truffle pig is stolen - sounds ridiculous but looks good).
  7. I don't know, but if she is unlicensed and unvaxxed, I have my doubts.
  8. My mom lives in Dearborn Heights. Her next door neighbor is an 86-year old widow. She needs some help. A couple months ago she didn't answer her phone or the door, so my mom went over to check on her (even though the lady's daughter lives 5 miles away). She had fallen in the bathtub backwards and was not strong enough to pull herself out. My mom, 80, had to call paramedics because she's not strong enough to pull her out. Neighbor's daughter hired a caretaker, an unlicensed caretaker. This woman was taking care of neighbor for several weeks until she disclosed that she is not vaccinated. Guess what? She's got COVID now and has been getting increasingly sick for over a week. During this week she had gone to neighbor's house nearly every day. Neighbor called my mom and sounds like she is sick. She's worried and she may need a ride to the doctor. I told my mom that she can't do it. Just don't. There are services that will take elderly people to hospitals/doctors, and the woman's daughter lives 5 miles away. My mom can always find a service to drive her. Hopefully its a November cold. The neighbor has been vaccinated but she's 86 and has diabetes. My mom has R.A. But if the neighbor dies, I think the caretaker should be brought up on charges (if she lives, she's in her 50s). What a selfish asshole. And the daughter, how do you hire someone to look after your mom and not ask? Unbelievable.
  9. So if Rodgers did indeed lie about his vaccination status, should he be suspended for at least a few games? Does the NFL have the guts? What's the policy? I guess it depends on if he lied to just the press or if he lied to the team/league.
  10. At the time of impact it was 127 mph.............he slammed on his breaks, but at 156, it is not going to help much. When his blood was drawn it was .0161, so at the time of the crash it was probably around .02. This wasn't a freeway, it was surface streets. Absolutely insane. He's going away for a very long time.
  11. Who are the Tigers Top 10 prospects with a realistic shot of joining the team in 2022?
  12. I just don't see them giving a non Power 5 team that money. This is rigged by and for the Power 5. That's why they dropped them so far down. Oklahoma, OK State, Wake Forest, Michigan and Notre Dame could all leap them at various points. Question. If OSU beats MSU and then Michigan beats OSU (yeah, right)......and they all finish the season with 1 Big Ten loss, who wins the division. The head-to-head thing couldn't be used in that scenario. But hey, lets not get ahead of ourselves, Indiana has given Michigan fits the last few years, that is not a gimme, then you have to go to PSU to face a desperate team.
  13. This is from w/Bob & David. It's a parody, obviously. This will be shown as a documentary in the South, the laughs will be removed. And that shit is working it's way here too.
  14. I am a middle aged white guy, everything they do is in my favor, but I do care about other people and their rights and I hate racism, sexism and homophobia, but if they aren't going to participate and stand up for themselves, there's nothing I can do to help. Lets fight over stupid things now. Lets get offended and distracted because Dave Chappelle, a comedian with a history of offensive humor, made some offensive jokes. Lets get offended over every little thing so we can be distracted from the big issues.
  15. So I guess the message is that BIden didn't fix everything in 10 months, so he's a failure. Plus Dumbocrats sit out midterms like they usually do. No wonder we're never going to move forward. Meanwhile, with the year the Dems have left to set an agenda before the overwhelmingly Republican congress & senate logjam any and everything in 2023, they're going to fight over small things and get NOTHING done. yeah, extremists, you didn't get everything you wanted, stop sulking and move it forward, it only really works in small steps anyway. Keep sitting them out until one day you won't be allowed to vote even if you want to. Can't wait until Republicans PENALIZE car companies for building fuel efficient and electric cars.
  16. When is the first-pick.com draft game going to update the draft order and put the Lions at #1, the trade offers will be epic. That game is addictive, I once traded myself into 55 draft picks and drafted an entire roster.
  17. David Carr really stepped in it. He posted on Twitter that his brother should be the MVP if the Raiders made it to the Super Bowl with all that has gone wrong. Yeah, maybe not the time, Dave. I'm sure EVERYONE is aware of the Raiders troubles.
  18. The team with the fewest wins of all the playoff teams, wins it all. Just get in, get hot (and it doesn't hurt to have great pitching).
  19. Can we call Carlos or Corey yet?
  20. Just read that his best friend in high school died in a car crash. No indication of drunk driving in that one, but man, some things don't get through. Not sure they would have got through to me at 22, because we're all pretty stupid at 22.
  21. Just noticed in the standings that Eastern Michigan has the second-best overall record in the MAC, but are in the same division as Northern Illinois, who are clearly better. Chris Creighton has done an incredible job making them relevant and competitive.
  22. Make the playoff simple. Each Power 5 Champion, however each conference determines it and 3 at large teams based on rankings. W/L + Strength Of Schedule, some sort of formula will determines the final 3 and seeding. No conference gets more than 3 in the final 8. With the extra weekend make the First Round on NYD, Second Round 2 weeks later, Championship on the Sunday between the Conference Championship and Super Bowl. Stop pretending that it's too much for the student-athletes, its the reason they are there. With that formula, I might look like this 1 - Georgia (SEC Champ) vs. 8 Wake Forest (ACC Champ) 2 - Alabama (At Large) vs. 7 Cincinnati (At-Large) 3 - Michigan State (Big Ten Champ) vs. 6 Oklahoma (Big 12 Champ) 4 - Oregon (Pac 12 Champ) vs. 5 Ohio State (At-Large) Sorry Michigan, you lost another big game, it should cost you dearly. Cincinnati going undefeated pushes them into the mix Group of 5 Playoff (they deserve to have something to play for - Independents don't qualify, sorry Notre Dame & BYU) Houston (AAC champ - because Cincy went to the big playoff UTSA (Conference USA Champ) Northern Illinois (MAC Champ) Fresno State (Mountain West Champ) Louisiana (Sun Belt Champ) San Diego State (At-Large) Coastal Carolina (At-Large) SMU (At-Large)
  23. Henry Ruggs makes $4 million a year. He lives and plays in Las Vegas, a town with more limos than anywhere else (maybe in the world). The NFL also has a program that if you are drunk or high, you can place a call and they will provide you with a ride home at no cost, with no questions asked, even if you are on a 3-day bender or a coke binge. But he said "Nah, I got this" and drove drunk ALLEGEDLY last night, crashed his sports car into an SUV and killed a woman. Even with the best lawyers, he's probably going to jail for a long time. He's only 22 and he blew it all. For some of our younger posters, we had a Detroit Lion do this in 1988, His name was Reggie Rogers and he killed 3 teens. He only spent a year in jail. Sentences for DUI deaths are much harsher now. He then had another DUI crash in 2008, it was his FIFTH DUI just in the state of Washington. Rogers wound up dead at 49 from an overdose of cocaine and alcohol. Sad all around. I've always thought Reggie Rogers was a bigger draft bust than Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell or Tony Mandarich, who only really hurt themselves.
  24. First college football playoff rankings are in. I told you there is NO WAY they would invite Cincinnati to the party. They'd find reasons to keep them out. They can go 12-0, they are not getting in. No way a non-Power 5 gets in. 1. Georgia 2. Alabama 3. Michigan State 4. Oregon 5. Ohio State 6. Cincinnati 7. Michigan 8. Oklahoma 9. Wake Forest 10. Notre Dame.
