Waltz has that Austrian rigidity nuance, naturally, a good fit for the Tin Man, I think Kurt might be a little old for it. I want the same actress playing both witches - two sides of the same coin type of thing. I would consider Margot for Dorothy but she would not be believable as a teenager. Maybe Brad as Floyd from True Romance being the Stoned Lion . As far as screen time, it doesn't have to be a line-by-line copy of the original, this is the QT version. Sam can let the f-bombs fly.

I never thought I would see a regime worse than Matt Millen's. Seems like they blow him away. Goff will be here next year. Nobody says he has to start. If DC trades for or drafts a QB then I'd love to see the Lions sign Fitzmagic for a year. Why not? Or draft a QB with one of the 3rd/4th round supplemental pick they'll get. If there is a guy there that's worth the risk, Dorsey is the guy to find him.

The Jets just acquired Joe Flacco because they let their rookie QB get destroyed again. Why can't the Lions pick up a better backup? They need to win a game. Fine if they get a #1 or #2 pick, but they need a win badly. I guess Penn Jillette was outselling his ice cream much more than some country singer (Trace Adkins?) and should have won the Celebrity version, but he was asked if he would support and endorse Trump for President he refused - and so he lost. I saw a video of a woman at a gas station scratching off her ticket, winning and celebrating and jumping up and down and she holds the ticket up for the clerk to see and someone runs up and snatches it out of her hand and runs right out the door and gets away. See, you are falling for the Lions Conundrum. When you think "Hey they are playing a team that's down, they can win this game", they turn around and get their arse beat. Then when you think "Oh my God, they're going to get blown out by this team", they play their guts out, make it a close game and you get your heart broken. They set you up for hope, then they let you down and crush you and then make you hope again. It's like living with a drug addict.
