Michigan loved it when there were only 3 local TV stations and 3 local papers and they could stop any bad story from getting out with the threat of taking access away. Can't do that these days. Makes you wonder just how long that place has been a toxic cesspool. Well, at least since the Mid-70s. These institutions simply have too much power and think they can't be touched, and until very recently was true.

Well, I enjoyed our one year reprieve from mediocrity.

Maybe getting in a PR battle over inappropriate sexual misconduct isn't the best move for Michigan after - the Dr. Anderson fiasco (I believe Bo's step son 100%), after the Schlissel situation, other recent sex scandals involving professors, a brewing scandal with their hockey team........just saying that it's probably best to just let it go. If Josh wants to shade Michigan, let him go, he'll wind up burying himself. With all that has been going on at Michigan, maybe Josh thought the best way to be a power player was to be like the rest of 'em. Michigan is a disaster on so many levels right now. Best to just stay quiet.

Josh Gattis was so upset at how badly the local weather forecasters botched the storm prediction that he's had enough and he's going to a much warmer place.

Michigan's PR machine probably doesn't have a lot of room to speak when it comes to some of the events discovered in recent weeks.

I read on yahoo sports that for the first half of the nine hour interview the gig in Minny was his and something turned it. Probably Harbs acting like the weirdo he is. It can be charming at times, but when you are running a billion dollar business, I don't know that "eccentric" is a job clincher. Oh to be a fly on the wall there.................I just wonder what he said.

With the Caldwell thing. 3 out of 4 seasons in this venus fly trap of a program - they should be naming streets after the guy. I think his age works against him more than his race. Seems we're moving towards younger and younger coaches. Everyone wants their McVeigh..............most will end up with their own Kingsbury. Leftwich needed to land a job THIS year (a few are still open, so he can still). He won't look like such a good O.C. with Kyle Trask or Jimmy G at QB. I think Daboll will flop in New York. The Buffalo offense was good because of Josh Allen and his creativity. Daniel Jones or whatever other stiff they get won't have that ability to fix broken plays.

At this point, I'm kind of done with Harbaugh and I wanted Josh to get it. Harbaugh is a cartoon, man. I'm glad, in year freaking SEVEN, that he finally beat OSU and got to Indy. It was a very impressive season, but the sideshow is silly and I think it's just time to cut ties with Bo, his disciples and that whole sick, sordid chapter. The announcers are gone, lets keep going. The faster we get done with the past, the better the future will be. Bo knew. He bragged that he knew everything about his program..........can't back off of this and say "well, not that part". Take down the statue, rename it Victors Hall and move on. Hockey program is f'ed up now too.

But by the time he comes back for that Head Coaching job in college, he will have had a good 15-20 interviews for practice under his belt.

Guess he never wants to be a Head Coach then.

Oh, and adding to the list of talented actors that do a ton of really bad movies (and then every once in a while do a good one that reminds you they can really act) ---- Halle Berry. She's not quite on the Nic Cage/Burt Reynolds level, but she's getting there.

This Moonfall movie looks really stupid. But you know what really bothers me about it, other than it's stupidity...........some Q-Anon idiots are going to think it exposes some kind of truth about he moon being artificial. Just waiting for that conspiracy to start - probably right after JFK Jr. makes Trump the President again.

I think Chris Spielman knew of his rep with the Rams and he probably consulted his brother on it too. I don't think the Lions were leaning one way or the other, I don't think they had a guy in mind. There doesn't seem to be a problem with black guys being hired for GMs, just head coaches. It's so odd.

I've think I've said this. I don't think there is OVERT racism at play here. I just think it's a disconnection. Josh McCown is the favorite for the Houston job. BASED ON WHAT? By the way, Byron Leftwich is not the only one that balked over Baalke. Tough situation for Lefty..........to have to work with someone you don't like but then it's only 1 of 32 jobs. The good for Lefty is that the team wouldn't be any worse under him. But the bad for him is that if he stays in Tampa Bay as OC, he won't have Brady running that offense anymore, so he's probably not going to look as good. I don't think Brian Daboll is going to look that good with Daniel Jones or whatever other stiff the Giants put at QB. Josh Allen made him.

The Vikings probably didn't hire Harbaugh because he was too ethnic.................

That is interesting, It seems to me, in my observation, that kind of thing was FAR more scandalous in 1987 than it is today. I mean, marijuana is legal in half the country and people these days have come to expect that you might have made some mistakes in your past. And example would be 1992 Bill Clinton and the scandal of "I didn't inhale" and 2008 Barack Obama saying "I did inhale, that was the point" In 1988 Laremy Tunsil smoking pot on a video probably ruins him. In 2016 the guy drafting him for the Dolphins says on national TV "I smoked pot in college too, I'm doing alright.". People are far more forgiving for a lot of behavior now than they used to be. Just don't make a bad joke about a specific group of people, even if you're a comedian who has spent a whole career being offensive for a laugh. I guess a Black guy has to be a friggin' Boy Scout to break in to the private club.
