I don't think winning at Seattle is a given. I do hope they can at least beat Minnesota. It would be nice if they can knock out Minnesota so the Lions can rest that game.
The Packers are 1-4 against teams with a winning record. They are 1-3 in the division. Their one division win is because of a blocked FG against the Bears. They beat up on a soft Dolphins team and suddenly people thought they were great.
Man, Packer fans are officially worse than Bears fans. It's sad what happens to a fanbase when the tables are turned, and they are no longer the top dog.
Eagles strength of victory is .415 compared to .507 for the Lions. Lions are 3rd in the NFL in strength of victory behind Baltimore and Tampa. Tampa is up there because they beat both the Lions and Eagles.
Reynolds left the Rams the same time Goff did and signed with the Titans and struggled. They cut him and the Lions picked him up and he had a good run. Reynolds was good with the Rams and Lions. There is just something he has with Goff. He has struggled without Goff.
Reynolds was all those things, but Patrick has been a great addition. It's ironic since Denver signed Reynolds and let Patrick walk and they eventually released Reynolds after 5 games.
Washington is only one game back of the Packers. They also have a better conference record than the Packers. It's not out of the question that Washington jumps Green Bay for the 6th seed.
The Lions did this exact same thing last year against the Chargers. It was something like 4th and 2 in a tied game. The Lions were in field goal range with about a minute or less left. They went for it on 4th down instead of kicking the go ahead field goal and converted with a short pass to Laporta.
