92 of Lamb's yards came from a play where Barnes missed the tackle on Dak and the CB fell down. While the Rams have good receivers, they aren't Jefferson or even Lamb. I feel the Lions match up better against Kupp because they have good safeties and nicklebacks. The one Jefferson catch in the end zone in the first game had the lowest probability of being caught in his career. Part of the reason Mullens racked up a lot of yards is because the Lions shut down the road, got an early lead, and forced Minnesota to throw jump balls. Mullens has also racked up yards before in his career. In 8 games in 2018 for SF he averaged over 280 yards per game including a 400 yard game against Seattle. We are also forgetting that the Rams secondary may actually be worse. Their pass defense is not good and their safeties are definitely worse. Playoff experience means nothing. Goff has plenty of playoff experience. That's the one position where it might matter. Stafford had 3 playoff games in 12 years before winning the Super Bowl. He faced Burrow who had no prior playoff experience.

Wait, they gave Jokic #15 to erase Anthony's accomplishments? What exactly were his accomplishments? Making it out of the 1st round once? Demanding to be traded?

To be fair, they were up 27-7 on the Saints and 20-0 on Washington. In the Cleveland game, they were only up 20-19 in the 4th when the Cleveland kicker missed an extra point. Flacco then threw an INT deep in their own territory and then turned it over on downs deep in their own territory and the game got away from them.

An underrated concern is that the Rams best pass rushers are up the middle and not on the edges. The Lions best pass blockers are on the edge. Goff is next to useless if he has to escape the pocket. I could though see the Lions taking advantage of outside zone runs with Gibbs. The Lions may not be able to pound the ball up the middle.

The Lions have the matchup advantage in all phases except pass defense vs pass offense. Keep in mind the Rams pass defense is not very good and grades worse than the Lions. Their overall defense is dead even in yards with the Lions fiving up 1 more yard per game. They are 19th in points against and the Lions 23rd. They give up 1 fewer point per game. The Lions ran into a buzzsaw of Justin Jefferson and Ceedee Lamb. The Rams have good receivers but they aren't the big outside receivers like those two are. The Lions also played a pretty vanilla defense against the Vikings. I think they have a trick up their sleeve with the 3 safety look.

They could have had the Bears host the Lions in Germany and have both St Brown's even though no one cares about the Chicago one.

I just thought, I wonder if Carolina getting the Germany game is punishment for Tepper throwing a drink on a fan? Basically taking away a home game. I have no other idea why you would want to showcase the Panthers internationally.

Motown Bombers replied to Tigeraholic1's topic in Detroit Pistons
The teams is filled with lottery picks. Even if they are failed lottery picks, there should be enough talent to be better than 3-35. The coach is the 2nd highest paid in the league and he's worse than Casey. -
Jack Campbell quietly had a nice 2nd half.

The Saints have already said they are bringing Allen back. I would really look out for Sirianni if the Eagles lay an egg in Tampa. They moved on from Pederson rather quick after winning a Super Bowl. There seem to be locker room issues popping up in Philadelphia. Here's another one I'll throw out there. McVay. He gets blown out by Goff and decides to retire and go into TV.
