  1. Kevin Durant demands a trade by the end of the week.
  2. Our draft compensation is contingent on Kirk Cousins winning a playoff game.
  3. The Democrats did though in 2018 and the Georgia runoffs and since Dobbs.
  4. Since Dobbs, every election has gone the Democrats way. I'm also not convinced that Republicans are going to show up without Trump on the ballot. We saw that in 2018 and the Georgia runoffs.
  5. Seeing rumors of Jamaal Williams to the Eagles but the source is suspect.
  6. I got this plate and didn't know this was the reason they were brought back. When Trumpers find out, they're going to meltdown and destroy their cars.
  7. This explains why the Vikings did this trade.
  8. I'm fine with the decision to trade Hockenson. The writing was on the wall when they came out of the bye with a contract extension for the punter and not Hockenson. I would have expected a better return but am reminded the Bears got a 2nd and 5th for Roquan and traded a 2nd for Claypool so it seems fair. I think the extra cap space needs to be considered. Lions now have 5 picks in the top 65 and can clear a lot of cap space this year.
  9. Lions save $9 million in cap space next year.
  10. The Lions drafted Mitchell coming off an injury so I think they are going to try to work him up to be TE1 by next year. Brock Wright will be TE1 for the rest of this year.
  11. Dave has never seen a QB he didn't want to draft. He was calling for the Lions to draft a QB for years with Stafford. I wouldn't be shocked if he was calling for the Lions to trade up to draft Goff.
  12. I originally read it as the Lions getting a 2nd and 3 4ths and no picks going from the Lions. I find this trade underwhelming. I don't think the Lions got fleeced but meh.
  13. Really? You don't see where the next win comes? There's the Panthers, Jaguars, Bears x2 that are all winnable games. I'm also not as high on the Giants and Jets as others either. The only game remaining on the schedule that I see that is an automatic loss right now are the Bills.
  14. Aaron Rodgers is basically Jared Goff and I'm not even joking. They both are having very similar seasons so far this year.
  15. I think it's also worth noting, in the Miami game, that the Lions only got three offensive possessions. One drive had 20 yards of penalties that killed it, another got a sack, another a turnover on downs. The other two games they didn't score a TD in the first half either. Teams go through these stretches. The Vikings did. The Bills yesterday scored 27 points but only 3 in the 2nd half. It happens. At the end of the day, the Lions scored 27 points. That should be enough to win most games. I guess some people would feel better if 14 of those points came in the second half when they are down only to lose.
