  1. Makes sense. The NFL likes non divisional matchups for these international games and this would be one of the more intriguing matchups. Also, St Brown is the only player I know of with any sort of connection to Germany.
  2. Doesn't get enough credit for the turn around he did with Stafford.
  3. I think Quinn was building a team better suited for the 90's. Big and physical but lacks speed and athleticism. He liked offensive lineman and was frankly pretty good at drafting lineman. Decker, Ragnow, Jackson, and Glasgow turned out to be good picks. Looking at his other picks, he went for size and physicality over speed and athleticism like Tavai, A'Shawn Robinson and Golladay. I also think he wanted a running oriented team by drafting guys like Kerryon Jonson and Swift.
  4. Then why didn't they do it with Hockenson? He had averaged nearly 2.5 targets more per game in Minnesota and over 2 more receptions per game in Minnesota and was on pace for over 100 catches with Minnesota.
  5. I mean, they traded away Hockenson so they could go with mediocre TEs so I think they are fine with it.
  6. I'm upset the Democrats rigged a 600,000 vote win for Benson but couldn't find 1,600 votes to rig Marlinga over James.
  7. Hockenson's production went up after he left Detroit. In Minnesota Hockenson was averaging nearly 2.5 more targets per game. He was on pace for over 100 catches with Minnesota. If the Lions were going to take a TE in the upper rounds, they would have just kept Hockenson and used him the way Minnesota did.
  8. I understand that but just get rid of it then instead of charging for something that is inferior. I don't know any company that charges for any form of 2FA.
  9. Yeah that's what the cult is saying. Makes me wonder why he is charging for it then.
  10. Here's something to think about. Think only 3 firsts and a Pro Bowl QB get it done?
  11. Miles Sanders is a free agent too. Could be an option for the Lions if they do not re-sign Williams.
  12. I seem to recall Fairley being considered one of the best players in the draft but was one of those who had character concerns pop up late which caused him to drop. Turns out those character concerns were accurate.
  13. On the other had, the Lions could have won at the end of the season like they did and drafted Cam Jordan instead of Fairley and had an even better player than Peterson. Imagine a defensive line of Suh-Jordan-Avril.
  14. Elon doesn't actually say the reporting is inaccurate.
  15. I'm not sure many people thought drafting Mike Williams was a good idea at the time. I seem to recall the Lions being widely panned for that move.
  16. It's not like their offense doesn't have needs. They currently have only one proven receiver. They have a RB that can never play a full season. They do have a good offensive line and a Pro Bowl QB but the offense certainly has needs.
  17. I liked McCarver earlier in his career but he seemed to lose it later in his career.
  18. Trey Lance is another workout warrior who got way over drafted.
  19. I also haven't heard anyone mention the Colts getting compensation for the Lions hiring Montgomery even though his title with the Lions is an upgrade over the Colts. If they aren't getting comp for Montgomery, the Lions certainly aren't for Staley.
  20. I take it as being a lateral move with the HC or GM. Take Brad Holmes for example. Holmes being the minority employee and the executive of the employer club (Lions) decides to leave the Lions for say the Titans and is hired into the same position. The spirit of he rule is to promote minority candidates so Ray Agnew accepting the Titans GM position would warrant compensation. Another example would be if say Pittsburgh allows Tomlin to seek a different head coaching position and he accepts a job from Denver. That was a lateral move so no compensation. That's how I interpret it. I'm not sure there is an example of a minority head coach leaving one position for the same position with another team. I also do think this would apply to Staley only if he were given a head coaching job.
  21. He's not a woman who committed a violent crime but I digress. The difference between Tesla and Theranos is you can still buy a Tesla. The product does exist where the Theranos machine never existed. Musk sells vaporware like FSD, Roadster, trips to Mars etc but you can still buy a Tesla. Musk is really bilking the consumer and not as much the investor like Holmes.
