  1. If everyone stays healthy, I think Goff has a good season. That would sort of muddy the waters since he will be going into the last year of his contract. You either need to extend him or find his replacement. If he has a good season and the Lions flirt with the playoffs, I would try to do a Cousins type extension and add a year onto his contract. It gives you one more season to make the playoffs and advance. It allows the Lions to use their two 1st round picks on the roster. Gives you one more look at Goff and another chance at drafting his successor.
  2. Because it's literally used to deworm horses. That's why it's called horse dewormer. It's even sold at places like Tractor Supply to be used as a horse dewormer. People are actually buying that stuff and taking it because of things they heard on the internet. Tractor Supply even has to put a disclaimer on their website that it should not be used for human consumption to treat COVID because people are using it to treat COVID. Don't both sides this. Zimecterin (Ivermectin) 1.87% Horse Wormer Paste, 0.21 oz., 7096120 at Tractor Supply Co.
  3. It's never a coincidence that religion proliferates the poorest areas of the country. Not just the south but look at the north. Go into the poorest areas of Detroit and you find many churches and clergy who are active members in the community government. Some of these churches are also palaces in the middle of much abandoned neighborhoods.
  4. I've done a good job avoiding the south. I lived in Tampa once and only drove through the south. I have no desire to return.
  5. This is interesting, if you do notice the companies that do move to the south are auto manufacturers because they can pay people lower wages and the south is anti-union. I think I would disagree on Atlanta. Atlanta is changing the state. Atlanta is the reason Georgia has two Democratic senators and why there is a chance to have a Democratic governor. The GOP isn't going to go out without a fight and they are desperate because they see the writing on the wall. That's why they are passing voter suppression laws that largely target Atlanta. Don't forget, Virginia used to be a very red former confederate state that has shifted pretty far to the left even though they elected sweater vest.
  6. I have to imagine that families don't want to have their relative's corpses displayed on TV for everyone.
  7. Your stupid meme suggested I didn't know what the word dewormer meant. It literally means to deworm and that is exactly what an anti-parisitic like Ivermectin does. I've said it is a legit drug, however, there is plenty of data that says it is not effective against COVID and taken in improper dosages can cause side effects such as diarrhea. The NIH, WHO, FDA and CDC say it is not effective against COVID. Sorry if that doesn't conform to your MAGA conspiracy theory.
  8. Remember, Tennessee was the state referenced that legalize Ivermectin without a prescription.
  9. By the way, here is from the NIH that was used earlier as a source: "The Panel recommends against the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19, except in clinical trials (AIIa)." Ivermectin | COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines (nih.gov) This should be a Biff approved source.
  10. I don't think you know what an anti-parasitic is. Ivermectin is used to treat things like roundworm. That is literally a dewormer.
  11. Perhaps you will find these facts acceptable, a study from the New England Journal of Medicine Ivermectin Doesn’t Help Treat COVID-19, Large Study Finds (webmd.com) Or how the FDA does not approve Ivermectin for COVID: Why You Should Not Use Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19 | FDA But hey, I'm the delusional one who doesn't take a dewormer to treat a virus.
  12. Rare when prescribed by a doctor and taken in proper doses. Not as rare when you buy a bunch of horse dewormer and start taking the dosage prescribed by QANON.
  13. Also, it was Craig Mauger. He's usually good at delivering local political news but I'll steer clear of posts like the above. Usually he doesn't share those type of posts which is why it caught my attention.
  14. Incontinence is a side effect of Ivermectin albeit rare. I imagine the people who are taking it for COVID are also not taking it in proper doses since no competent doctor is prescribing it for COVID so they are getting their dosages from either shady doctors or conspiracy theorists. Most people who get symptoms took too much. That's per Webmd. Hopefully they don't count as a partisan hack. People Hospitalized After Taking Animal Drug Ivermectin for COVID (webmd.com)
  15. I was responding to the post above about sitting him effectively two years. A QB you draft 3rd overall and invested three 1st round picks should be starting by year two. If he is unable to win the job in year two, that is not a good sign. Lance may end up winning it by default since Garoppolo is injured and has a history of injuries.
  16. It's also entirely possible that Lance is there at 12 and the 49ers didn't need to trade anything. If not Lance, Fields or Jones are likely there and the 49ers need to give up nothing.
  17. I don't know about the logic of trading three 1st round picks for a guy that will sit at least two years. On top of that, Lance basically sat out his final season in college so he would have been redshirted for two seasons. By this point, you are almost halfway through his rookie contract before he even becomes a full time starter. The other thing is the 49ers had options. Stafford was there for the taking and would have fit perfectly into Shanahan's offense. Instead they paid more for a risky project QB while Stafford went to their division rival and eliminated them from the playoffs en route to a Super Bowl.
  18. An active participant in the insurrection is now the Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania. Keep in mind that in Pennsylvania, unlike other states, the governor appoints the secretary of state.
