    I think most people thought the Fielder contract was bad from a length and value perspective. It was done for immediate impact and they did get to the World Series and that 2013 team was really good. Ironically, Fielder's lack of hitting and not defense is probably what did them in in the ALCS.

    Liz Cheney voted for Trump in 2020. She supported over 90% of his agenda. If Cheney is a moderate, than so is Trump.

    There's a good possibly a QB will be there in the 15-20 range and the 24th pick is more appealing and would cost less in terms of other picks than the 32nd pick.

    A good pass rush can help mask a weak secondary. Frankly, the Lions need players at all levels of defense. They need linebackers too in the worst way. All of the Lions needs won't be solved in one draft. I think they need receivers more than safeties. I would rather build an elite offense and good enough defense.

    I'm coming around on Matt Corral if he is available at the Rams pick. He isn't the flashy QB but neither was Justin Herbert or Mac Jones and so far they are the best in their draft class. I like pocket passer. Sure Lamar Jackson is successful but what happens when his legs go? Does he end up like Cam Newton?

    It's also the first game for Decker and Nelson is now the 6th OL. I think they were planning on running more but they really dialed the downfield passing back after that deep shot and were mostly throwing screens.

    If the Rams lose their only playoff game, does McVay get fired? He orchestrated the Stafford trade and they provided him with a lot of star power. I kind of hope it implodes next year for that 2023 pick.
