I'm more confident in the Lions future. There will be a lot of lazy talk about their past history, but ownership has done things different this time. I see them more as the Grant Hill era Pistons. Maybe they make it to the middle of the Eastern Conference and lose in the first round. Cade will leave as soon as he can and I doubt there is a Ben Wallace waiting on the other side. I'm so sick of the country club atmosphere of the NBA. Cade will end up on one of the 3-4 chosen teams in the NBA if he is a legit superstar. If he's merely good, the Pistons will need to give him a max contract and overpay.

How much did those odds increase? Where is the data? How many extra plays did Minnesota gain from that timeout? 1? How much did the odds increase that the Lions would score before the end of the half? I'm totally blown away that the concept of stopping the clock before halftime in order to secure an extra possession is so radical and terrible. Not only that, it worked and was the difference in the game. This has to be some sort of derrangement syndrome.

He may be on to something. What if we call the kids who were killed at Oxford aborted children? Instead of saying they were killed, say they were aborted. Maybe that will change the narrative.
