Right, it was intentional but the refs were quick to whistle it. I guess the refs could have assumed it was intentional but they also couldn't be sure and assume the Lions wouldn't take a timeout.

The Lions had a delay of game penalty called and the whistle seemed a lot quicker.

Sheila has tried to give the diva his unearned money. She simply can't just write a check because that would violate league rules. The Lions were willing to pay him $1.6 million just to make some promotional appearances and he refused. At some point, Calvin Johnson is going to have to work with the team as well. Frankly, I could care less if Calvin Johnson is involved with the team. The Lions paid him $113 million already. He can just go away.

The last I played organized baseball was 8th grade. I only remember batting twice in an inning once and I got hit by the pitch both plate appearances.

Anzalone looked noticeably better with Barnes and Reeves-Maybin playing along side of him.

I would take the Alex Smith approach with Goff. I would even trade back if I were the Lions and there wasn't a can't miss Sewell type player available. Use two of three 1st rounders on defense and the other on a WR. Speaking of WR, Golladay has been underwhelming.

I think Tiger Stadium was an awful stadium. Last game I remember going to was Matt Anderson's debut against the Cubs. I believe Sosa tied or passed a record for most HR in a month. I know I went to a game against Oakland. Not sure if it was before or after that game but I got an autograph from Tim Raines and Jason Giambi before he was a known star.

I have a hard to believing even Boebert missed that in a banner. I'm also certain she did not design the banner. It was an intentional misspelling. It was probably shared more on Twitter because of the misspelling than had it been without.

I had the same issues with the mobile site. I found clearing cache and cookies on my browser fixed it.

Baltimore got lucky too. They scored their only TD after that fumble recovery was negated by a penalty that had no bearing on the play. They also benefited from the non call on the expired play clock and of course needed to kick an NFL record FG that bounced the correct way off the crossbar.

Presuming they run on 1st down and the Ravens call timeout and pass on 2nd down and get the 1st down, Baltimore had only 1 more timeout so the Lions would just need to sit on it. It would be like the situation last year in Atlanta when Gurley scored. Even if a Lion broke free and was wide open to the end zone, I would sit it down before scoring.
