  1. I'm at the point where I don't care anymore. McConnell held open a Supreme Court seat for 9 months and that still wasn't enough to get Democrats to vote. An insurrection and voter suppression still doesn't appear to enough. I'm so tired of trying to care about things that don't affect me when that group just doesn't care enough to vote. Roe doesn't affect so get rid of it. It took over 50 years to get to this point but Democrats have thrown in the towel after 12 months. McConnell has been working at this since before AOC was born. Instead of taking what Manchin gives them and working on flipping PA, WI, FL, NC, OH etc, they just forfeit and hand it over to the Republicans.
  2. Don't know how reliable this is but...
  3. Those ones who thought Hillary and Trump were the same will now have to deal with a conservative Supreme Court for most of their adult life.
  4. When progressives whine that Biden isn't getting anything done.
  5. The funny thing is, there is all this talk about an insurrection or coup in 2024 and there is not going to be one because the Democrats are just get to sit at home and let the Republicans take the country.
  6. Just one response to that tweet: And this is why Democrats lose elections. They expected to get everything in one election and are now just going to give up.
  7. I still can't get over these people risk their lives and freedom over Donald Trump.
  8. Right, and Elon Musk is almost as big of a grifter and fraud as Trump is.
  9. Did this Loony Party challenge the results of the election and mount an insurrection on parliament?
  10. Goff won a playoff game on the road as recently as last year. He can hold down the fort if we need to wait another year for the right QB. Kansas City did this with Alex Smith until they decided on Patrick Mahomes.
  11. No matter what you do to address it, it will be racism. My parents moved to Eastpointe, which I advised against, but anyways the area right along 8 Mile is having issues with cars being stolen. What's happening is people are breaking into the cars, jamming them into neutral, and using another car to push them across 8 Mile into Detroit. This neighborhood, which is mostly black, wanted the city to do something. Together with the city, they came up with the plan to block the streets to 8 Mile. Pretty simple and logical solution. Well, an activist group on the west side of Detroit caught wind of this, and rose a stink saying the city was being racist even though the majority black residents wanted this and Eastpointe caved and to this day the thefts continue.
  12. LOL my dad was one of the vigilantes except he didn't carry a gun. Our neighborhood was a popular neighborhood for cops and city workers back when Detroit had the residency requirement so we had a cop specifically assigned to our neighborhood. Neighbors would patrol the streets and tip off the assigned cop for suspicious behavior. If this happened now, my dad would be canceled and lose his entire lively hood because he may have reported an innocent black man. This was the same line of thinking my parents used. The gangs started inching closer but they will never cross over into our neighborhood. Then Michigan ended the residency requirement and all the cops and city workers fled, except for my parents, and the neighborhood changed overnight. The same thing is happening in my neighborhood. Crime is increasing and it used to be south of 8 Mile but now it's more like 10 Mile. My black neighbors are dealing drugs but no way in hell I'm going to report them and get canceled. I just decided to say fuck it and am moving away.
  13. I remember when my parents were this naïve about the rising crime rate in their Detroit neighborhood.
  14. These conservatives, primarily radio show hosts, have spread disinformation that has probably caused hundreds if not thousands of people to die. Their disinformation is also prolonging the pandemic so sorry if I have no more fucks to give when they die.
  15. Jacksonville has a potential franchise QB and a top 3 pick. Chicago doesn't have a 1st round pick. They have a better base but that defense is aging. I understand Harbaugh has ties to the Bears but I like the Jacksonville job better.
  16. I wouldn't be too upset if the Lions end up picking 2nd or 3rd. The decision on whether to take Hutchinson or Thibodeaux would likely already be made for them.
  17. Not surprised to see Cabrera leading Michigan, although I wouldn't have been surprised to see Baez either, but New Mexico?
  18. Notice the one huge exception.
  19. I mean, that's just a bonus but Harbaugh has a legit NFL track record. I never understood all these other college coaches getting more NFL attention.
  20. I'm being serious. No head coach Jacksonville will interview will have the NFL credentials that Harbaugh has. The Jacksonville job may be appealing. Potential franchise QB in place and another top 3 pick.
