  1. I think someone needs to go if they don't make the playoffs. Leading candidate would be Harris but maybe Hinch or Hinch and Harris. I think Hinch manages the team like its a little league team. It was just stupid to do nothing at the trade deadline when they were already struggling at the time. Everyone knew the pitching rotation and the pen were in big trouble and what little they did do made the team worse.
  2. That's laughable. Have you ever noticed the personal attacks that are ignored when someone posts something that doesn't agree with your left wing agenda here? Many times after I post something the moderator says I'm trolling again because I don't agree with you.
  3. She considers everyone a troll that doesn't agree with their far left lunacy.
  4. I think if the Tigers lose the division they stand a good chance of missing the playoffs entirely. Currently Cleveland is 2.5 out of a WC spot.
  5. Kirk was all about dialog mostly with people who have different views. Many on the left would rather silence there opposition than have a rational and polite conversation. It's a big part ofwhat's wrong with politics today.
  6. In this game I think we got what we expected from Detroit's AAA pitchers on the team. Hoping the pitchers from the IL are ready soon. Seward, Urquidy, Finnegan, Lange and Olson would be a big improvement over some of the current pitchers.
  7. Don't sell yourself short Barney. You are one of the front runners here.
  8. It's the same guy that uses AAA pitchers from the back end of pen in a close game. This is another loss on the manager's decisions.
  9. Barney you must have a short memory. You are the one supporting a pedo when you voted for Biden. There's a lot of video available showing him feeling up and sniffing children.
  10. Unfortunately the pen isn't performing like they did last year. Still time to turn it around but I think the post season goes about like it did last year. They will make it a round or two unless some of the pitchers on the IL get back and surprise us.
  11. If there ever was a statement that defined this political section this is it. It doesn't matter how true something is as long as it says what you want. No wonder you can't have a legitimate conversation or debate in this group!
  12. Flaherty can be good for four or maybe five innings. Hinch wants to push him for more and that's when it all goes bad. Morton gets a good game in sometimes but can't be counted on as a regular threat. Paddack is kind of like Morton but his good games are much farther apart. Mize started out the year pretty good but is now a great BP pitcher. With a staff like this a team isn't going far in post season.
  13. I have more faith in Jake Rogers on the mound than Sommers.
  14. Finnigan and especially Morton have been a nice surprise. I didn't expect anything from Morton. I will stand by my comment that you can't build a WS contender and championship team from waivers and those are the players Harris likes to pick up. Tigers are back to winning but I don't have a lot of faith in the pitching staff to get them deep in the playoffs. I hope they prove me wrong.
  15. Correct. He graduated HS in Lansing area in 85 and was signed to play for Michigan State. That changed after he was drafted. When he reported to the Tiger organization something worked out for him where he spent quite a bit of time with the Tigers. As much as he wanted to play for the Tigers the best thing that happened to him was that he was traded to Atlanta. His MLB debut was against the Mets in July 1988 when he pitched a couple innings. He recorded his first strikeout against Darrell Strawberry.
  16. Hinch might have been the only person watching the game that though Jack was able to get out of the inning. With Flaherty's track record this year I would have had someone warming up to start the fifth and yanked Jack after two hits. We all knew there were more coming and where the game was going. Sure Hinch needs to get innings but he needs wins more. Pull Flaherty early and hope for more innings from the starter in the next game. It probably all would have fallen apart anyway with the bad bullpen they have but it would have been a better move.
  17. Besides injuries and regression, Harris didn't do anything to improve the team at the trade deadline. I would not expect him to trade prospects if the team was .500 and trying to catch the last WC spot. However, they had the best record in MLB and making (and winning) the WS was a real possibility. It was very obvious to everyone what the team needed and bringing players in the from the waiver line or trading for marginal, bad or players way past their prime did nothing to help. They might capture lightning in a bottle occasionally with these players but they should not count on it. I think Harris screwed up this season and it should cost him his job. His approach to the trade deadline was a complete failure.
  18. Some of the deadline acquisitions are terrible. I think Tigers might of done ok with Finnegan but Montero is not a great find. Fortunately they didnt give up a lot for any of them. Tigers need more trades like they did a couple years ago when they traded Norris for Reese Olsen. Is Norris even in baseball anymore?
  19. They should have won 2 of 3. They gave the first game away on bad managerial decisions with pitchers.
  20. Where's all these pitchers they traded for that is going to improve the team? Instead Hinch sticks with his tired go to relievers that haven't been producing for weeks. I would rather see them get beat 12-0 then give games away like this.
  21. There was someone here who had never heard the popular term, "steal an employee" so I explained it to him avoiding the political BS. When I post in the political section I am just here to educate but many of you make me feel like a special education teacher. @ben9753 - How the hell would I know why they aren't releasing everything? I have no more information than you do. I can only assume its for the same reason the Biden administration didn't release anything and that is because they are protecting someone or hiding something. I have posted at least twice everything should be released and anyone who had relations with underage girls should be prosecuted no matter what political party they belong to. That's where I'm different because all of you here are following the party line and only care about getting President Trump. Its much bigger than that. Like I said before, if Trump was involved I think it would have been revealed by the Biden Administration. Afterall they spent millions fabricating other things like the Russia hoax so why not reveal something that was true and certainly would have ended his political career as well as his freedom.
  22. I don't know if there is an actual list but Maxwell could make one pretty fast. I think everyone that took advantage of underage girls should be outed. Maxwell and Epstein facilitated it but the other people who were with the girls are as bad as them and should face charges as well - no matter who they are.
  23. Why do you think Biden and the dems wouldn't have released that information? If they did I'm pretty sure that Trump wouldn't be POTUS today. They fabricated other stuff so why not use actual factual information to get rid of Trump?
  24. Good to see the team looking like the 20+ games over .500 team we were used to seeing. They still have some holes to fix and hope that gets done.
  25. When a business hires someone from some other business, usually a competitor, for more money its considered stealing an employee. It happens everyday. The Epstein case documents has been around for a long time including when Biden was in office. Does anyone really think if Trump was on any client list that someone from the Biden Admin wouldn't have released that info to the world? I'm sure they would have and every MSM channel would have broadcast it for months.
