Believe it or not, I have been to a lot of democrat functions and conventions. They never once talked about helping people, it was all about getting elected and gaining power.

I am not unhappy with the results last night. I don't think it was that big of a deal to elect a few democrats in traditionally blue areas. I can see the spotlight being on them for future elections, especially the guy in NYC. He will be the star of campaign ads for the GOP.

I don't think the democrats care about anybody. They just want to use people and especially the lesser knowledgeable people to gain power. As for healthcare, it is a mess. The cost of healthcare in the US is out of this world and something needs to be done. That something is not throw more money at subsidizing insurance. All they see is more government money coming in so lets raise prices even higher. They need to get the prices of healthcare under control and stop gouging. One thing that gets me is that I pay a lot of money in property taxes. Those taxes pay for our police and fire dept. That includes the buildings, manpower costs, equipment and supplies. If I call an ambulance I will get a bill for $1000 to $2000 that will go my health insurance provider. The taxpayers have already paid for this so why do they do this? Because they can get away with it. Its just one of the little things that add up that needs to stop.

Its not the Republicans that are bringing BS baggage that is holding up a CR. The government shutdown is 1000% on democrats and crying chuck.

Its a CR, there is nothing to negotiate so yes that is democrats holding the country hostage for the pet projects.

Because they need 60 votes to pass the CR and all but one democrat keeps voting no. I haven't seen how everyone voted in the latest vote but I think in past votes all Republicans except one or two voted yes so it is the democrats holding the country hostage.

The country is being held hostage by crying chuck and the democrats. If they cared about the working people not getting paid and the people on SNAP they would pass the CR.

mamdami is very good for the Republican party. If he gets elected his entire term is going to be a rolling commercial for how much better the Republicans are for the country. We can sit back and watch NY go even farther in the toilet.

Since they have been run by democrats. Same as the Biden did during his reign of disaster.

I actually hope mamdami does win. We will have a front row seat watching the democrats destroy NYC so it will hurt their chances in future elections. NYC is already a liberal cesspool so nothing lost. All these cities run by democrats have declined and the voters are somehow fooled by their line of BS to keep electing them and asking for an even bigger disaster.

If Skubal was traded this winter the Tigers should get at least two established players and a prospect or two. If Harris trades Skubal for a couple of highly rated but unproven prospects he should be fired. The idea of trading Skubal this winter is to get the best return. They will be able to get prospects in July.

Its nice that there are still a few people willing to do the right thing for the people instead of following a political party that just want power no matter how they have to get it.

If there was a hint of Trump in the Epstein files the democrats would have released them and publicized it anyway and everyway possible.

Democrats support a candidate that has a Nazi symbol tattoo on his chest and a terrorist supporting muslim for mayor of NYC. When you post stupid things like this you can't even be taken seriously. I wondered why you only quote one word of a post. I get it now that you are protecting the delicate eyes of the left wing loons that can't handle to see an opinion of the real world truth instead lefty fantasy they so desire. The bigger issue in Portland is not how many police there are but that they are operating under the policies of the their far left city council. In other words they are standing around and doing nothing but protecting the left wing radicals that are blocking streets, harassing and at times inciting violence on anyone that doesn't agree with them and harboring illegal aliens. There was video showing some left wing loon attacking a guy in a Charlie Kirk shirt. The guy in the Kirk shirt defended himself and was arrested while nothing was done to the left wing loser.

This is why I don't think there is any chance that Skubal signs an extension with Detroit before becoming a FA unless he really wants to stay. I still think its best to see what he can bring in a trade this winter and if not good enough hold on to him and see what happens after 2026 season.

People that immigrate legally to the US are staying. The illegal aliens that invaded the country are being tossed out. This no kings stuff is hilarious. The loony left is goofy enough to have a no kings day but they support appointing a candidate for POTUS without a primary. They want to ignore the constitution and take firearms away from US citizens. They want the government to control their healthcare. They want the government to silence their critics ignoring the constitution again. This list can go on and on. All that pink, blue and green hair dye is hurting their brains. If the Biden admin would have done their job then President Donald J. Trump wouldn't have to fix all the problems they created.

Hamas are a terrorist organization. There will always be one faction or another doing something despite these agreements. I think the peace deals will stop the large scale fighting for now. Hopefully it will last and people can live in peace.

I think Melton would do well back in the starting rotation. The way things go he would end up having TJ surgery in June and be out 2 years.
