I'm a patriotic American. I get that is hard for some people to understand especially those folks on left that put America last and don't care about national security or energy dependance.

If you want to talk about something that some people here are passionate about they should at least know what they are talking about. If someone wants to talk about cars would they be taken seriously if they called the tire a door or the bumper a brake? No, and its the same with firearms. I was pointing out they are using the wrong terminology that shows they don't know much about firearms.

I have no interest in giving aid or working with our enemies especially Iran. Myself and many people in this country believe the greatest threat to the US comes from within by the liberals and Democrat party. The comments posted here at times back that theory up especially on the topic of national security.

Why would any American want to do a deal with Iran? Iran is one of our worst enemy and a nation that supports terrorism. Paying off the enemy is not going to make them like us. It will just give them the means to attack us easier and quicker. By the way my comment was 100% correct.

We should not be doing any deals with Iran. Iran is a terrorist country that is 100% against the US. The Obama administration made a terrible deal with Iran to begin with and the Iranians did not follow through on their end. As soon as Iran has a nuclear weapon the US is in real danger. None of these deals do anything to guarantee they won't develop a nuke because Iran can't be trusted. I also can't believe the US would have Russia in any talks. Russia and Iran will do whatever is their best interest. It will be just another way to get money out of the US.

You're correct that the jobs didn't automatically come back. A lot of business couldn't survive the shut time. I don't necessarily blame anyone for shutting things down. During the pandemic I feel everyone made the decision they thought was best at the time. Looking back some decisions were right and some weren't but who was to know at the time. My point was saying that one person did something to lose all the job or create all the jobs is not correct. The pandemic shutdown caused the big unemployment numbers and reopening the country caused the so called creation of jobs to lower unemployment.

Donald Trump is a private citizen and has no power anymore. He said a lot of stupid things over the years. I think we all agree on that. I posted a recent recording of the current Vice President of the United States giving a very dumb explanation of the Russian Ukraine war. It doesn't surprise me that you haven't heard this. If you want to ignore it that is your choice but it doesn't make it go away and it doesn't make Harris any smarter.

Do you think the jobs just went away? The covid pandemic and the governors shutting down business are what caused the job loss. Its funny that people blamed Trump for doing nothing during the pandemic but now overlook what the governors did and blame Trump for shutting things down. If I remember correctly Trump only did a two week shutdown at the beginning to try to get things under control. Some state governors kept business down for months and some over a year in California. For some people Trump is responsible for every bad thing that ever happened.

This ranks right up there with 9/11 but probably not as big...yet. 9/11 was horrific attack on the US mainland. RIght after many people around the world were expecting a nuclear strike in retaliation. Fortunately George W. didn't lose his head and the nukes didn't happen. Putin is painting himself in a corner with all the sanctions and I believe a nuclear strike on Ukraine, Europe or even the US is still a possibility.

I like this idea. I could care less if they play interleague games. I would also like to see a few double headers scheduled throughout the year on Saturdays. Real nine inning games, none of this seven inning stuff.

I think Covid gets credit for that or the governors that shut down their states.

It sounds like Xi is the only person Putin will listen to. The UN or the White House should start putting some pressure on China to help fix things. They probably won't since this is just a dry run for what they will do to Taiwan but all avenues should be explored.

These pretty much describe the state of the union today. At least Biden won't be able to remember what he's done to us.

Im sure you know what Im saying. It takes a lot of courage to stand up to the toughest kid in town. If we had a strong and fearful leader then Putin wouldn't dare challenge him. We don't have that so Putin is walking all over Biden. This isn't just about Russia and Ukraine. Putin is showing the world and specifically Biden and the US he's the toughest kid on the block and he's running the show. He's even threatening us with nukes.

Sorry but the truth is there for all to see anytime Joe makes a public appearance. Denying the truth doesn't make it go away.

We need a strong leader and someone who instills fear in our enemies. Biden is not that person. The world sees how weak he is and knows he's not playing with a full deck. Harris isn't effected by dementia but shes a moron who has no business in that position. It doesn't matter if they're Dem or Rep, strength and and the ability to instill fear is something any POTUS needs. We're in a very bad place right now.

I think you're wrong on this. At best Harris is a dolt. It will be a death sentence for the US if Harris is a war time president or a president at all. Biden is bad enough but I assume Condi Rice is currently calling the shots since Biden doesnt have the capability.

You must be thinking about Joe and his boy. Going to war with Iran would be almost as bad as going to war with Russia. Putin may be evil but Iran is far worse. We will find out how bad they are if Biden gives them another infusion of cash and allows them to get nukes in a deal like Obama did for them. I've heard they may be getting close to a new deal.

I think Trump listened to advice during his time in office on military and defense issues. At least some of the time. The best example of this is when he turned back the planes that were headed to strike Iran. Someone convinced him it was best not to bomb Iran. I don't think he did that on his own.
