I thought there was another abortion issue coming before the SCOTUS that's a bigger deal than the Texas one. The Texas issue was heard on emergency request if I recall correctly.

I don't know the agreement and I doubt you do either. I really don't beleive there was a plan in place to leave equipment behind. From whats been said it sounds like in the agreement with the Taliban is they basically had to behave or we would be back. The problem with the withdrawal is the Biden Administration let the Taliban dictate the terms when they got to Kabul. The US is the biggest badasses on the block and sometimes we have to act like it instead of being led around by terrorists because we don't want to anger or offend them.

At least Bernie or Warren would have been running the country and been in charge. Biden seems to be asleep at the wheel while someone else is making decisions behind the scenes.

I think the recall was more about the almost endless shutdown. Every place was reopening except for CA that stayed in Lockdown.

I really think Biden and his people created most of their own problems instead of being set up to fail. Some things deteriorated rapidly when he signed exec orders on Jan 20. Especially the border which was finally under control until he blew it up. Afghanastan withdrawal was another fiasco on their part when they let the Taliban control things. Other issues like the supply chain probably aren't his fault directly but its on them to get it fixed and they're not doing too good at it.

I hope this shows the Republicans they need someone with ideas similar to Trump that's not Trump....or DeSantis. Youngkin ran a good campaign and didn't push away Trump supporters or the anti-Trump crowd. Thats what the Republicans need to win the WH.

That was when people could afford to come to a game and sit in a decent seat. I remember when they moved to Comerica they interviewed some local folks that had season box seats for years. They stopped going to games because they couldn't afford them anymore.

I can't see the Tigers not only spending that much but doing a deal that long. A contract like that puts them in the drunken sailor range.

Also, after Brantley stepped on Fried instead of the bag it look like Fried did hit the bag with his other foot before Brantley got back. The announcers thought it would have been an out had it been reviewed too. It looked like they didn't watch the replay long enough to see Fried touch the base but in the end it didn't matter.

It was Brantley. When I wrote that they were talking about Altuve and I had that in my head. When I realized my error it was too late to edit and you can't delete posts so it was engrained in forum history.

I'm glad it's over and happy that the Braves won. Hopefully the owners and MLBPA will have an agreement before December 1 and we can see who Al can sign for next year. Unless Al gets drunk out on his boat I think we could be disappointed in the signings.

New Jersey is a toss up still. Last count had the Republican up 1,200 vote with 88% in. Even if Murphy ends up winning, this sends a clear message to the dems that what they are doing isn't going over with the voters. Now that the writing is on the wall about their future will they try to jam through more of their socialist, racist and anti-American policies or go more for a moderate position and try to save themselves? Congrats to all Virginia voters for putting the best candidate in office. Tmc was a horrible candidate and I think a lot his stances around education really hurt him. The fiasco around the handling of the student getting raped in a girls bathroom by a boy in a skirt swayed some votes there too.

Fried had Altuve out at first early in the game. They didn't watch the replay long enough to figure it out. Very bad move by Braves replay guy. Now Braves are up 3-0. Its still early but hope they can keep this lead and finish the series.

They are Americans that put the US citizens and the country first unlike the democrats that put them last.

Its unfortunate that the vaccine and the virus have become political. If anything these politicians should have been in agreement on covid . They all refused, one side says one thing and the other goes the opposite because they will never admit the other is right. It also might have helped early on in the vaccine if they would have said you didn't need a mask if vaccinated. I know people who wouldn't get the vaccine because of that. That's not entirely the governments fault because some employers are the same way. Where I work they want employees vaccinated but masks are mandatory with no end in site.

This guy is a little premature. There is a long way to go.

You probably won't have to worry about it. After the democrats are done we won't have a country left.

I didn't pay much attention to the VA gov race until I saw you guys talking about it. TMac doesn't seem to be a very likeable guy and doesn't have much to offer. No wonder Biden campaigned for him. Two peas in a pod.

When I look at the 2021 Tiger season the highlight is all the game and series wins against the top teams. But you can't forget all the losses against the crappy teams and that could be what some people look at first.

Part of that problem is a lot doctors don't want you in their office if you have covid. I feel people are more hesitant to go to a hospital.

The easier one to win would have been last night with a 4 run lead in the first.

Yep, it is the best option. Unfortunately there a some breakthrough cases and deaths. I forget who the pharma companies are but there are a couple treaments being developed that look promising. I think one might have been submitted for approval recently.
