Like I said I just hate to see a game end like that. Even replays aren't perfect as we've seen calls go one way or another against what we see on the replay. Nothing we can do about it. I'm not a Dodger fan so it doesn't help.

First, I thank you for at least attempting to answer my question. However, it doesn't really answer the national issue. I don't remember a woman on the Republican gubernatorial ballot for Michigan but I'm getting old . I'm not a fan of Whitmer but the Republicans didn't have the best candidate either.

How are they working to rig the system? If I recall its the democrats that want everyone to vote without proving who they are and are ok with mail in ballots with no controls. If that isn't rigging the system I don't know what is. The elections need to be safe and fair and with plenty of controls in place so the results won't be questioned.

Replays show it wasn't a swing and not past the plate. It wasn't even close in my opinion. I would be ok if they used replay for game ending calls like that.

You may have seen in my previous comments I don't support Trump and certainly don't want him to run another for another term. I agree his popularity with a good many people presents a problem. Hopefully someone with half a brain in the party will convince the party to support a good candidate and Trump will back them hopefully bringing his supporters. The country can't take anymore of the disaster we are seeing now.

They banned Pete Rose for betting on himself but now the MLB is in favor of gambling because so much money is involved.

I hate to see any game end on an official call especially when its a bad call. I usually hate 1B and 3B umps making these calls because they get them wrong a lot. The ump should have erred on the safe side that wouldn't have ended the game. Now he will be forever known in SF as the guy who screwed up the series with a bad call.

I haven't watched a hockey game in years until last night. The was an entertaining game and Wings gave it away. One thing I noticed was they seemed to be lacking the big hits and a lot of pushing and shoving but no fighting. Is it a league thing where they stop the fights before they get started now?

The SCOTUS Commission is supposed to meet today. Their initial findings are against expanding the court. They thought term could address the issues the democrats have. The problem I have with doing anything to the SCOTUS is that Court is supposed to be non-political and with a couple exceptions they currently are. If the democrats pack the court with their people it will turn it into another political body. The job of the SCOTUS is to interpret the Constitution and the law not rule on personal or political feelings. Most of the rulings show that. RBG was influenced the most by politics as was Alito. I find it funny that Sotomayor accused the court to be political when she is most politically influenced on the bench. Susan McDougal was put in jail because she refused to answer questions before a grand jury. I think she stated her name and that was it. It had nothing to do with Congress. Who could blame her with the trail of bodies around the Clintons.

You have a point that it might be better to show up but not say anything. I don't think there's much they can do. I can't remember the specifics or the hearing (Benghazi?) but it was led by Republicans that some people refused to show and nothing happened.

If they would have played over .500 for only a month or two during the season I wouldn't have the same opinion. However, they played most of the season above .500. The hole they dug in April and early May was so deep it was impossible to get out of and back to .500 but they came close a couple times. Plus I look at the quality teams they won series against and even swept a few of them. I know the flip side of that is they had their butts handed to them by lesser teams often too. For some reason they could beat the best teams and lose to the worst. Go figure! Anyway I think it makes a good foundation to build on with obvious areas to improve. It gives me hope they will be over .500 in 2022 and possibly contending for a WC if they just get their labor issues settled.

Why would they vote in favor of something that Nutty Nancy was going to control. The Impeachment hearings were a joke with Shift and Nadler running it. Why would they give her another chance to do this?

My litmus test on if something is credible or not is someone is stacking the deck to get the result they want. Nutty Nancy and her clan have stacked the deck. Nothing worthwhile will come out of it that way.

I think they could do better than .500 with some FA help. Tigers played from May 8(?) to the end of the season over .500. The terrible start left them in a huge hole to dig out of.

Im not a Republican just a Conservative. I have to side with the Republicans because thats as close to a conservative as we get currently. McCain was a joke of a candidate and the worst Republican candidate in my lifetime. Romney is a close 2nd.

Liz Cheney is as anti-Trump as any democrat. She is a McCain like RINO. When you guys make comments like that it shows how little you know about the other side.
