When did I ever say it was no big deal or anything about 409? It more like I complained about the price of 409 since the Biden inflation plan has increased prices across the board. Trump never said it was a hoax. That was something the democrats started and the media jumped on since they are part of the democrat PR system. You are believing a proven democrat lie. Several states have called out the Biden administration for rationing Regeneron while other democrat friendly states have gotten it. I've never heard Trump say not to get the vaccine. Why would he pave the way for it and then tell people not to take it? The Democrats are the ones that said not to take it and now have changed their mind to force people to get it and wear a mask at the same time. What's the point of getting the vaccine if you still have to wear mask? More people might get the vaccine if the promoted that masks would no longer be needed.

As much as I would like to see them sign Correa, I don't see them spending big. I think they will make improvements but spending will be minimal? I hope they prove me wrong but no matter what they do they should make enough improvement to compete for a WC spot. Although that might be harder than we think when a 100+ game winner is taking a WC position.

I see several comments on who to blame for covid. In the early onset of the pandemic nobody knew much about it or had the testing capability to identify it. I don't think too many people realized it would blow up to what we've seen the past year and half. Why would anyone think a country like the US didn't have the technology to control a disease. We had other threats that were averted so why won't this one be? Did Trump blow it? He didn't do everything right but he did get more ventilators and paved the way for the vaccine as well as other things. His communication was terrible especially at the beginning but I think he thought what many people did and that in a month or two it would be under control. After it was evident we were in trouble he did fight with blue state Governors and favor red states at times. How is that different than what the Biden Admin (I will call it the Biden Administration because Joe doesn't have the mental capacity to steer the ship) is doing when he is withholding covid treatment from red states and sending to blue states? Fauci is supposed to be the subject matter expert but he has contradicted himself so many time he has no credibility left. Now the virus, the vaccine, the treatments and masks have become political weapons. This isn't how to battle a pandemic. This is how you play political games. You can say the Biden Admin has done this or that but really they have done no more than Trump and probably less. Biden Admin is just as guilty about playing politics with the virus as anyone. Don't forget how they also condemned the vaccine and said they wouldn't take it if it came from the Trump Administration. Now they want to require people to get that same vaccine....go figure.

That reminds of where I work. They keep moving the goal so they say we aren't doing as good as we think we are.

I don't see the Tigers signing a new OF in FA. I think they have enough prospective OFers to come up with four solid guys even if they are moved around from Toledo throughout the season. They should be looking for a SS, pitching help and maybe even a catcher in FA.

The US dropped out of WHO and the PCA for good reason. WHO helped China cover up covid and all they want in the PCA is our money. If you want to believe these things are good that Biden has done you are either misinformed or clinging to false hope that your political party is succeeding. There have been Covid relief bills for over a year and a half. Vaccine distribution is something that should be done by local areas and states. Its been reported thathe t that the Biden admin is decided that so called blue states get medicines first. Thats playing politics with peoples health and lives. Afghanistan departure is a disaster. There are still people there they left behind and won't help. Private contractors are trying to get them back to the US and the Biden admin is blocking them. Raising minimum wage just raises costs. Refugee bans were from counties that hate the US and want to destroy us. Letting these people in just make out country less safe. Thanks Biden for endangering my kids and grandkids. First amendment abuse is something democrats thrive on. The list goes on and on but you get the idea.

You guys sure get worked up by Trump but now you are living through the absolute worst POTUS in modern times. Tell us one good thing Biden has done. Actually we don't even know who's running the country since Biden doesn't seem to have the mental capacity to do it. He's just following someone elses direction as we've seen when he's been in public. With how things are going the dems are handing the Oval Office back to the Republicans in 2024. I just hope Trump doesn't run but instead backs a good candidate that's not Desantis. I think Kristy Noem or Nicki Haley would be good choice and that's not because they are women since I don't believe in giving people positions by race or sex.

For me Jones was the biggest disappointment this year. He was never great at the plate but he showed signs of improvement until this year. I don't think I've ever seen a MLB player look so bad and so lost at the plate. I think there's probably more to what's going on with Jones than we know but Hinch and Tigers gave up quickly and didn't even try to improve him at Toledo before he was DFA. He played some at Toledo but has fell out of regular play there a few weeks ago. I doubt he would be offered a chance again in Detroit so he could end up out of baseball or with another team if he's lucky.

I think we need to find out if Baddoo is a one season wonder or he's the real deal. I feel he could be a very good player. Since this was his first year in the MLB or anything higher than A ball he has performed better than anyone could hope. He has a lot to improve on and I think he's capable of doing it both at the plate and in the field. The obvious for Hill is to stay healthy. I think he has potential to be an outstanding fielder but still questionable at the plate. I would like to see more of him before any decisions are made so I hope he makes the team out of ST.

I don't think he'll get it this year. I also hope he doesn't get it in Oakland or Seattle either at the start of the season. It would be nice to get it in the first series at home against the White Sox or the next with the Red Sox.

Mayorcas admitted that most of the Haitians that showed up to the border were admitted and released in the US. Only a few were sent back. We have the closest thing to an open border we ever had. Agreed. I was thinking it was Harry Reid who used the nuclear option to lower the vote threshold. Reid did for appointments but not for the SCOTUS. McConnell lowered the threshold to a simple majority for the SCOTUS. However, the way the Senate is now and how politics are being played there would never be another Justice appointed if they relied on a 60 vote majority.

Trump didn't handle covid well especially the communication part. I don't think the results would have been different no matter who was POTUS but we will never know. Don't forget under Trump there was the fast track of a vaccine. The same vaccine that's being mandated to most that Harris said she wouldn't touch because it came from the Trump administration.
