  6. I still wonder if he becomes a first baseman
  7. on the team official it seems
  8. i remember hearing this but i don't remember the guy's name. he was a catcher
  9. I mean, Sheridan was named after a tank. Slater . . .
  10. this is my experience also. i recall that it was not this way in the past. as recently as last year (i think) i just clicked 'watch' and could watch spring games. no more.
  11. yeah, those are definitely related. the forearm thing fits with that, too. that's a funny thing about what is going on with stanton. tennis elbow has a lot to do with forearm tendons-muscles. i've had it, and there are many things you can do per normal, but others, even simple ones like opening a bottle, can be really painful
  12. my recollection is that usually the forerunner to tommy john surgery is 'forearm tightness.' i personally can't think of just 'arm soreness' as that. did the genericized warning change without me noticing?
  13. I read that as Kreidler and I was befuddled until I realized my error
  14. sigh. i always liked the tiger coming through the D. i feel like i must be the only one. i didn't want it on home hats or jerseys, but for the road it was good (i join those saying the home uni should strictly be the traditional ones). i really miss the charm of the mismatched Ds on the hat and jersey. i will never forget the bull**** rationale we were offered that mlb wanted single logos and so the tigers changed.
  15. I think the players would be wise to go back to having somebody other than a former player for this role
  16. that's one way to put it [at least from the public perspective]
  17. Now Nick C. is available gratis. I mean, for the minimum, but you know.
  18. it's not just mlb. a couple years ago -- maybe a few years ago -- i was walking the streets of birmingham and i ended up next to kyrie irving at a crosswalk. i am 5'10" on my best day. i was eye to eye with that dude
  19. To remember, they'd have to have known in the first place . . .
  20. Framber looks short compared to all those guys
