  1. Sorry for going full MCS up there but the audacity to so casually bring up an open side door as the root of the problem really, really pisses me off.
  2. The side door? The fucking side door is the common thread!! Fuck you Fox News! Truly some of the worst people in the world work there.
  3. There are many more impactful CB in this draft than there are interior lineman. I personally also don’t see as much difference between the top corners as I do the top DT’s. It’s a bigger drop off. That’s why I’d jump at Kancey at 6 over any of the corners. You can pick up a starting CB at 18 or any of the 2nds in this draft.
  4. In this draft…absolutely yes
  5. I would be surprised if the Lions don’t use one of their 30 pre draft visits on Carter. Bring him to Allen Park and see if Jalen is able to alleviate the concerns face to face.
  6. This is a pretty weak draft at the top. It’s definitely the reason that some of these outlier names keep getting brought up so early.
  7. It makes no sense for the Titans to not extend Simmons and build their defense around him. They got him at pick 19 and he’s turned into one of the best DTs in the game. This is exactly what you dream of happening when you turn in the draft card. If they don’t extend him, they may as well start trading all their future #1’s. Those are worth a mint to other teams.
  8. I wouldn’t draft Skoronski at 6 if Tyree Wilson is on the board. He’s best player available at a very valuable position. Best player available should outweigh any short term positional needs. I’d also question drafting a future RT that high. Sewell was a different story as he was drafted to be a future LT.
  9. He was nearly as productive as Kenny Golladay last year and a whole lot cheaper.
  10. I even got his name wrong. It’s Quintez. The last memory that I have of him is leaping over many B1G corners to make circus catches as a Badger.
  11. No snark at all, I completely forgot about Quinten Cephus. Not only did I think we had cut him but I had lost all concept that he ever existed.
  12. His name is Calijah Kancey. Take him at 6 and hope you have a stud DT under control for the next 5 years. The top ones are getting $20M a year now too.
  13. He played quite a bit of X aka Split End while at Alabama. Granted, guys move around more than even in the modern NFL offense but people get carried away with traditional body type and speed profile when defining her positions but the letters are still about where they line up on the field.
  14. They hope Jamo will be the X
  15. But it’s super exciting for the do they have something big planned with that extra $20M crowd.
  16. If we all put the Bonesmuggler on ignore, Stan will get bored and leave again.
  17. It’s the second most important thing to most pro ball players.
  18. I hope it happens. There’s nothing I want more from this season than for Tork to develop into a stud ball player.
  19. I absolutely wasn’t complaining. You were the one complaining about Miggy and that he was blocking what I deem to be our non-prospects. Actually, I don’t think anyone is being blocked. I used the pitchers as potentially a closer example of it than the guy taking up the very last roster space. Sadly, I think we all will have to enjoy a lot of flailing this year. I really hope that Miggy is much worse than Tork but I think there’s a real chance that Spencer he takes full control of the scepter of Tiger fan anger before the end of the year.
  20. He was painful to watch in that Vikings game.
  21. Good for him. I’m Interested to see the terms. I wonder if he has to pay them to play.
  22. I get what you are saying and I won’t disagree. In reality, its not nearly as important for a bad team with no playoff hopes to operate at optimal efficiency. Not ideal but also not a big deal if the last roster spot can only help the team by maybe selling a few more tickets at various points during the season.
  23. The fact it’s going to be a long year is the most relevant part of the discussion. If this was a competitive team then we aren’t having this debate. There is no way they could waste a roster spot on Miggy. Every spot would matter towards winning games. Even the last guy would need to help them fill a specific role. That’s not the case with this team. Also, Cabrera isn’t going to play that much anyway.
  24. If they did it now, they would have at least 3 years with this core roster and maybe a 4th with a few minor shuffles and then they’d be in hell.
