I really hope the email Twitter sent him was titled “Donnie, You’re Out Of Your Element”

I don’t think there would be any debate had the ball been thrown a few yards shorter. It was holding but it really wasn’t a catchable ball and that’s a tough way to end the game. Who knows, maybe they will look at the defensive holding rules and potentially adjust how they call it on uncatchable balls like they do on PI.

JSN at 18? He’s maybe a top 5 pick without the injury. Same value as Jaymo.

The transition tag number is still $17.9m for him.

It could still be LA. It’s Dustin Brown jersey retirement tonight and I doubt they’d want the distraction.
-
The tag for WR is $19.7m. There’s no way the Lions do that.

Yep. GS will have to pay something like $110m in luxury tax over the next two years if they keep Wiseman. I think they will they find a way to let this deal go through

All excuses and qualifiers aside, Cade has been a huge disappointment so far. Ivey has not looked bad but I’m not sure he’s got star potential. Duren has been great for a young center drafted outside the lottery but I’m not sure how valuable that is in the long run. Now we add Wiseman to the mix who has looks like Bagley 2.0. Not saying this cant turn into something but that’s based more on hope, dreams, and wishes than any solid foundation. Please save us, Vic!

Weaver started with a pile shit. Three years later and he’s turned it into a younger pile of shit.

Unless it’s a no brainer at 1-2 between either La Chèvre or Scoot, I have no confidence in Troy Quinn to make the correct choice

Im not sure that coaching has mattered less right now than at any point in NBA history.

It’s become a positionless league where nobody plays defense. Are there really skill sets anymore? It’s can you score and if you are really good you can create your own shot and score.

Swift takes too much heat from Lions fans for a guy that is our best RB drafted since Barry in 1989 and arguably 2nd best 2nd rounder since Jason Hanson in 1992.

I think he’s a #2 but there are many of those guys and they aren’t really that valuable to teams that don’t have enough #1

There are only 3 types of players in the NBA now: 1) Stars 2) Someone that can hit a 3 from the Wing 3) Fodder to trade and create cap space or draft picks to acquire #1 #1 is the only that is in short supply

The only thing that makes sense is Weaver is offering tribute to KarWilt, The Ancient God of Big Men, as a way to foster good will ahead of the coming arrival of the One True Messiah of Bigs this summer.

7 years ago sure. Now any play that relies on a RB to make a solo block is a bad play design. The game moves so quick now. There’s a reason the ball needs to comes out in under 3 seconds on most plays.

I never said it wasn’t a useful skill. It definitely is. It’s become more of a plus than a must have to stay on the field. Remember too the rules have changed and RB’s aren’t able to block low and cut guys on a blitz in the backfield. It makes it almost impossible for some of the smaller guys to take someone on 1v1.
