Is there really such a thing as a clear indicator with Jim Harbaugh. The guy is an enigma. I do think he will be back but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him get a little jab back at Warde in the process.

Wonder if Harbaugh will immediately accept the offer and pull himself from NFL consideration or sit on it and see what the NFL comes back with. Would be a nice FU to Warde to make him sit in the wind for a bit and wait it out.

I’m a sucker for all of these sports reality shows. I just watched the Barca soccer one on Prime. Not bad.

I understand why Haas and McLaren would be very opposed. Gene had the advantage of being the American owned team but their ineptitude hasn’t made a dent in becoming America’s F1 team. Zak Brown got the job at McLaren based on his deep ties to the US and the ability to bring sponsors and build the papaya brand here. They have heavily invested in Indycar as another way to reach the market and they are having some success. Andretti is a direct threat to some of the promises that Zak has surely made to the higher ups about his ability to grow McLaren in America.

The tennis version comes out tomorrow and golf on Feb 15. Will be interesting to see how they fare with some competition.

Connor Bedard will be immediately play in the NHL and probably be a star from day 1.

I think it would be even worse. I do agree that it’s not like the lottery is stopping tanking.

Warde sucks at his job. He’s a G5 AD, whose sole qualification for the job was that he was a Michigan man.

Sean Payton had mentioned it but if the NFL was ever considering a draft lottery this would be the offseason to install it. No matter what, Detroit got a great year to host the draft.

It should be Houston but I can see one of these teams that needs QB passing this year and starting the tank job for Caleb Williams in next years draft.

This organization is all about player development. Holmes must have mentioned it 5 times in his talk yesterday. Instead of focusing on what’s lacking in his game tape, how about what shows up. He’s electric with the ball in the open field. He’s sensational catching the ball out of the backfield and making people Miss especially in red zone. These are skills that cant be taught. He’s scored 25 TD in 40 games many of which have been pointed out he touched the ball less than 10 times. The talent level is off the charts and he has proven to be a flat out playmaker. He needs additional development and I don’t see this organization giving up on that without exhausting all efforts. Everything Holmes talks about would lead to staying the course and relying o the coaches to get him to that next level. If attitude and work ethic were issues then I could see the team moving on from him now. He appears to be a guy with a good attitude and plays for the team. It seems like he’s coachable as he’s made improvements this year and Duce would’ve run him out already if he wasn’t.

It’s more than just a value proposition. He hasn’t shown the ability to stay healthy and while he played decent at guard, the reality is that he’s our worst starting lineman and that really isn’t a debate. Add to the fact that he’s overpaid and it makes sense to move on.
