Hopefully, all of the other leagues follow suit and he’ll be taking headshots at Sears for the rest of his life. He needed to not be in such a hurry and watch where he was going. He could’ve seriously hurt someone with that equipment. Adams had a right to be fearful and looked to me to just be protecting himself. We also have to think about the children! There weren’t any there but what if there were? He could’ve seriously hurt a group of kids with his lack of care and complete lack of professionalism. What a tragedy that would’ve been. It’s a shame the police didn’t charge the cameraman and not the player but I don’t blame them since the woke left has the police afraid to do anything these days. Sad that unborn babies and millionaire football players aren’t afforded their rightful protection under the constitution. What happened to the 32nd amendment. I fear that Saudi money is so deeply invested in America that it will be near impossible to do anything to them. They have greased palms on both sides of the aisle and have interests in Washington, Wall St., Hollywood, Silicon Valley and everywhere in between. They have made a mint of money for many influential people over the years and are still out there as a funding partner on many deals. Nobody is going to kill the golden goose. They will fight to defend it.

It won’t surprise me one bit to see Larkin take his game to another level with a new coach. I think there is more there that Blashill wasn’t able to bring out.

Elmer’s biggest issue will be the same for every other young player in the league. Adjusting to the speed of the game and being smart and responsible with the puck.

I get it that everyone is excited about the young prospects. What I find interesting about this team are the vets. The 2nd line of Perron/Copp/Vrana will be huge. Chariot and Maatta on defense are improvements. The biggest one is how Husso will do in the net. If he can emerge as a quality #1 every night then I think this team has a chance to be the surprise of the NHL this season.

According to their rules, a minor breach is less than 5% of budget. Thus could be as much as $7.5m although I’d be surprised if it was that much. Rumors have it being as small as $1-2M, which could still cover one or even two small upgrades last season. No matter what it is they need to do a better job with transparency.

Ugly

Couldn’t have come at a better time. They need to get healthy on offense to have any success the rest of the way. Swift, ASB, and the line are what make them dangerous. Take them out or at limited health and what’s left aren’t capable of overcoming their tragic defense. That other side of the ball is going to be a struggle and there’s just no way around it. It’s not going to get fixed this season but hopefully they can get just a tad better and/or luckier on defense. The schedule opens up at the end and 5 or 6 more wins can still happen.

It wasn’t a bad call but I’d have preferred they kick the 50 yarder on 4th and long in that situation.

Tomorrow stands to be a pretty big day in F1. Interested to see what they do if its found out that RB not only went over the cap but also blatantly tried to cover it up and their driver won the title on an already controversial decision.

Nobody in their wildest dreams could’ve envisioned the offense being this good. Crazy still is the OL still hasn’t been together at all and Swift and ASB have only been healthy half the time. Unfortunately, no one’s worst nightmare had this defense being worse than last year. Scary to think how much worse it could’ve looked without surprise contributions from Rodrigo and Okudah.

Sewell is a great player but the same rational goes with passing on Micah Parsons. You wonder what this defense would look like with arguably the best defensive player in the league penciled in for the next 10 years.

Some help and additional depth is coming to the defense after the bye week. Jacobs, Paschal, Levi, Cominsky should all be back to at least practice and hopefully game ready.

There’s no conspiracy theory. They aren’t going to do it 4 games into season 2 of a total rebuild. Nobody is on the hot seat yet.

Anzalone is a huge liability and he played 100%. Joseph in his first ever action 100%. AO was arguably worse than last week and was headed towards 100% before getting injured late. Brockers getting 30 snaps is way too many. Julian Okwara and Bryant barely getting on the field is telling as well. Melifonwu was active but got zero snaps.

ALynn wasn’t his boy. Campbell and Glenn go way back and are much tighter.
