I think it’s really as simple as Glenn, who was fighting for his own job, was a former pro bowl DB and DB coach. He was an easy replacement for AP to see if they could shake things up and get a better performance from the secondary.
I’ve come to the point that I expect to see them play 30 minutes of pretty damn good football every week. If the other 30 goes average to slightly poor, they usually put themselves in a position to make a play to win at the end. Two weeks in a row now they’ve made that play. Let hope they keep it going.
The flip side is the more you put out there, the more stuff your opponent has to prepare against in a limited time. It can create a paralysis by over analysis situation.
I heard someone on The Ticket mention this possibility a few days ago. I thought it was a completely preposterous idea 10 games into the season but what the hell do I know. We will find out in 2 weeks.
