    Heisman race has a similar feel to 20 years ago when Carson Palmer closed with huge games against UCLA and Notre Dame to take the trophy. Caleb Williams can do the same with another big night against the Irish.

    That’s great social media work by Lane. Notice how he doesn’t come out and say he will be coaching Ole Miss next year. Egg Bowl is Thursday night and he probably will be taking the Auburn job soon after.

    1-1 tie is a fantastic result for USA because they played like complete dogshit. So ugly. Sloppy on defense along with a complete inability to generate any offense. Every cross into the box was easily defended by Wales. Hopefully this was just nerves from young side but they need to figure a lot of things out in a short time.

    Goff probably doesn’t have the accuracy to consistently utilize the deep ball. I think Jaymo can be effective for this offense without even getting the ball. His speed, even as a decoy, forces a deep safety account for him opens up more of the middle of the field for our slot WR’s. Need to get him some game action before the season is over.

    This is a game that SOL finds a way to lose and nobody would be surprised if they blew it. Big turning point for Campbell if they can manage to not bedshit the rest of the way and win it.
