    Walt would’ve strangled Marion in her own kitchen instead of getting caught. As would Mike, Gus, Lalo, and most of the other criminals on the shows. Saul/Jimmy was a con man instead of a drug lord. He wasn’t wired the same as those other guys.

    You are correct. I didn’t realize how much $7.5M is for a 2nd baseman. That was a big overpay in hindsight.

    Love the throwback. Goose sure looks like the future of jam music even though the old heads are having a tough time coming around.

    We are stuck Baez and he needs to be at 2nd. His arm is just too wild at SS. This also may entice Schoop to test the market instead of taking his player option.

    I have many thoughts that I can’t really gather properly. Great episode. Great Series. I love how it ended in the same way it started in S1E1 with Jimmy and Kim sharing a cigarette against a cement wall.

    I think the defense will be better than last year but still statistically one of the 5 worst in the league.

    This defense is still really bad. Not sure how they will go about getting teams off the field on 3rd down. They couldn’t stop a crossing pattern or properly plug run holes last year. I don’t see this changing much.

    The Saul version of Gene is now on the run after Marion turned him in. No doubt that he long ago prepared a plan for just this situation where he quickly needs to disappear. I think most of the episode will focus just on him trying to work his plan to avoid capture and possibly even trying to fake his own death. No clue how it turns out and what happens but I’m damn excited to see.

    I don’t know about that. They helped themselves a ton in portal and still return Thorne and Reed.

    If they can come into the game undefeated, they have a decent shot of getting the last spot even with a loss.

    Sucks for fans but it’s great for their playoff chances. Back to back appearances would be a big accomplishment.

    That’s very promising even though nothing can be trusted to work like it should in that shithole ballpark including the radar gun

    He’s got time to figure it out. They have 4 exhibitions before the season starts at Iowa on October 1st.

    They will figure out short yardage but they shouldn’t be trying to hammer anyway. They have fast playmakers and should be looking to get the ball downfield in chunks most of the time. I could easily see Harbaugh getting overly conservative if I they had a Haskins type back.

    The offense is loaded. The amount of speed and talent is more than they’ve had in a long time. They are 2 deep with talent at every skill position. They would still win 9 games if they had Rutgers defense.

    1st quarter was all that mattered as a team for me. I liked what I saw from the offense and I saw what I expected from the defense.
